B B'S ALTERATIONS

Grades A all the way. First time I've used them. Selected based on Angie's List ratings, and they completely lived up to their excellent grades. IMPORTANT! They are in a small 2-story office/shops building with about 6-7 suites. Theirs is in the BACK of the building, center, downstairs in the basement. They have a very visible and tasteful entryway, however.

Great service, completed on time and pricing was better than at the stores

The robe is an older heavier weight robe of my mother's that the zipper broke in. Since she really likes this robe I used Angie's List to find someone to take it to. She did not replace the robe, but she fixed the zipper and it looks and works great! I paid upfront, and it was $18.00, but when I went to pick it up she refunded $4.00 since she repaired instead of replacing it. I would have never known if she had not been honest, so I really appreciated that. I will most definitely use the services of B B"s Alterations again.

I had to order a new Army uniform for an event on 4/18 and after some complications with the shipping service I didn't receive the unfinished uniform until 4/17. With my deadline looming, B&B was able to perform a variety of alterations to my uniform suit coat in just 24 hours turnaround. The event was a success and the uniform looked great. I provided an old finished coat alongside my new one to show them the Army Regulation uniform standard and they did everything by the book to perfection. The price was great for giving such rushed service.

She did a great job, I thought I would have to buy another dress but she made it look great! Beyond my expectations, I will never go anywhere else as long as she is in business.

I was initially pleased with my experience, however, after wearing the pants only 5 or 6 times, the seam has split where the pants were taken in even though they are still a little loose. I also noticed the hem more so than I would have preferred.

I purchased four new pair of pants on Friday, 9/07/12, and need to have them hemmed. Saturday morning, 9/08/12, I called several alteration companies listed on Angie's List and each quoted a week turnaround. I then called BB's Alteration and they asked me how soon I needed the pants back. When I said that I would like to have them back as soon as possible since I was leaving on a business trip, I was told that if I would bring them in that they would have them back to me that afternoon. I was very impressed with their courtesy and willingness to expedite my alterations. I took my pants in and they had them ready that afternoon exactly when promised. I just purchased two more pair of pants and will be taking them to BB's along with all of my alterations in the future. They were also very competitive in price.

Excellent work. The hem was in a tricky spot (middle of snaps, straps and buttons) but they made it work and it's looks like it was made that way. The price ended up being higher than first quoted, however, because there was an additional coat liner that wasn't spotted when quoting.

Very few alternation places in Greensboro do any kind of leather repair or work. BB's replaced an 18" zipper in a leather jacket - they did a great job, used a high quality metal zipper as requested.

I had a wonderful experience with them. They had very reasonable prices. Some of the alterations were very extensive. I also had asked if they could have them done by a certain time because I was going to be going out of town and needed those suits. They were done on time and they did an outstanding job with the alterations.
