Started going to Adam?s Farm Animal Hospital for our cat in 2012. Staff although disorganized were very friendly. The veterinarians provided respectable services initially. One of them left unexpectedly for unknown reasons ?; at least unknown to
us when we asked.
Dr. Oliver became the primary veterinarian for our cat and started suggesting changes to his diet and increased testing due to his age. It seemed each visit cost $300+. We knew since he was born that our cat had issues feline herpes and heart issues however, this past year he had major complications due to his heart. After bringing him to the vet they recommended a different hospital for him to get emergency treatment. At this time we spoke with Dr. Oliver about our concerns regarding costs for present life saving procedures and future costs. We were lead to believe that prescriptions medications should he pull through
wouldn?t be too expensive, which was correct, around $400/year. However, we were never informed that due to these medications they would require additional blood tests every three months. Nor that these tests would run an additional $275+. Plus should anything be found additional testing would be required.
The word ?expensive? is a relative term and can mean things to many different people. Yet knowing that one of their clients is concerned about money, a reasonable person would think that an additional $1500 per year is a significant monetary investment, provided nothing else shows up. In less than a year we have spent nearly $4000 at the vet, which includes the cost of the life saving procedure $1700.
I realize putting a price tag on a family members life, even if that family member is a pet, seems wrong and inconceivable to many. Yet it is still a factor of life. Make sure you ask specific questions to this vet if you?re planning to use them. They are not forth coming, especially when it comes to costs. I wouldn?t recommend them.

I found great reviews on Adam's Farm Animal Hospital here on Angie's list and elsewhere when I adopted my two dogs in February. I began by taking them for vaccinations to see how they handled something simple like that. I was impressed from the beginning with the cleanliness of the facility and the care the staff took with my very nervous young dog. That's when I decided to schedule her spay with them. I also took my larger one year old dog in when he had a tick on his eyelid that I couldn't remove. They took care of it for no charge to me.
My young dog is not the easiest of patients. She was very nervous for her spay, but the technicians got her calmed nicely, even going so far as laying with her in the holding are to make her feel safe. After the surgery, she was really rambunctious even tearing up her first protective head collar and pulling out some staples despite my best abilities to keep her calm. I had to take her back right away and the office staff and Dr. Oliver were so great with my dog. My dog had some complications due to her active nature, but Dr. Oliver took great care of her and my dog recovered nicely.
I have since taken my two cats in which was a great test. I have an older cat who is rather aggressive at veterinarian offices. I have never seen her so calm at any visit as she was at the first visit with Dr. Oliver. This staff is fantastic and Dr. Oliver are fantastic. I have also boarded my dogs here very recently and the dogs were very well treated and very happy and calm there. Dr. Oliver has even phoned recently just to check up on how all my pets are doing after vaccinations, surgery and everything else. I've never had a veterinarian personally phone to check how my pets are doing. This level of personal touch was unexpected and extremely appreciated.
I would recommend this office to anyone seeking a change in offices. The prices are probably a little high for this area, but since I have moved from a larger metro area to here, this was in line with what I was paying elsewhere. The gentleness and calm acceptance of all my pets and their various personalities has made me decide to stick with Adam's Farm Animal Hospital and Dr. Oliver.

The service was great. This is the first time we've used them for boarding. We adopted a dog in May. It's a female vet, and she's great.

Adam's Farm is excellent. We lived down the street from the office. Dr. Janet is excellent. She is very caring. She takes excellent care of the animals. She helped me with several dogs over a 15 year span. She is terrific. They are very good doctors and very caring. They are more expensive. I primarily used them for veterinarian services.

They were emotionally tied to the animals. They are very involved with their patients. They take really good care of them. They are really expensive but it s well worth it. They are fairly booked.

I was happy with the service. We use them for our vet care also for things like shots. They are very clean and very friendly with the animals. I felt they took good care of our dog. The price was fair for a small dog.
