They are prompt, on time and I always felt the pricing was fair. I have been happy with everything have done. They are not the cheapest but they are competitively priced.

Used another provider. Found unit could have been fixed. There was no cracks in heating unit as Don Hall supervisor cailmed. There was no leak in Unit either for other provider was able to get the freon out of old unit

A bad fan belt was identified as the problem by a Don Hall repairman. We were advised that the latest heating / air conditioning units often do not have fan belts, and we were understanding of that issue when it was necessary for him to order a replacement.
The repairman returned at a later date to replace the fan belt. These repairman require payment at completion of service. However, after he left with payment, we realized that the unit was still not producing cool air.
Another Don Hall repairman returned several days later and reported that the fan belt was installed too tight.
It took at least three trips by Don Hall repairmen to the home to improve the cooling situation. The first was to assess the situation, then a second to return with the replacement fan belt, and finally, a third trip to adjust the fan belt tension.
Our family has used Don Hall a number times for heating / AC service for serveral homes. Their response time is pretty good. Their service performance is an average `C`. Their rates to be on the high side. However, we feel that the rate charged for this last issue was extremely high.
Be aware that the Don Hall technicians tend to show up at their convenience. They will try to work with you if you ask them to call you 20 minutes in advance to confirm that are on the way.

"We are sorry for your inconvenience. Though we do stock an average of $6000 worth of inventory on our vans, unfortunately sometimes with the different manufacturers and thousands of different models, it's impossible to carry everything. Your furnace was made in 1980 and therefore very difficult to find parts for. It would not be something that we would consider to be a standard stock item. We also did not have to order a belt, we actually had to order a blower motor. Because of the age, it raised the cost of the part and also suppliers don't stock these items because furnaces this old are quite rare. We do regret that you had to wait, but unfortunately since we came out on the weekend we had to wait until Monday to order it when our suppliers were open for business. We do appreciate your business."

Called to have someone go to rental house because AC wasn't cooling. Lady who answered phone was very professional and helpful. She took tenants number and they called tenant to coordinated a time to perform service.

The service technician was prompt. He checked the heat pump and determined that the defrost unit on the heat pump had never been properly wired. He wired the low voltage for proper defrost function and cycled the defrost multiple times to melt the built up ice. He also checked the freon level in the unit.
