It did not cost me anything. I know what the insurance company paid, which is probably not more than the normal rate. Overall, it was very good. If you want good restoration on your furniture, he is the guy to go to.

I have used Dennis from The Finishing Touch several times since we have been in the area over the last year and a half. We first used him when we moved here in Aug. 2012 when the moving company we had used referred him to us for some furniture repair caused during the move. After he came out to do the repairs, I was so pleased that I had him refinish two antique end tables that I have had forever. They came out beautifully, so I had him do an antique oak dresser that I had. I had him change the color to a darker walnut oak stain from the lighter one that was on there. It, too, turned out magnificent. Now, I just had him refinish my antique dining room table. I can't believe how incredible it turned out. It looks better than it probably looked brand new many years ago.
I would recommend him and his company for any and all furniture repairs or refinishing. His prices are also very fair, I think.
