Quality Landscaping Design & Maintenance

The project turned into a long lasting disaster. Here are some specifics- 
Mr. Craig ended up building retaining walls with uneven and wavy looking surfaces. Some of the wall sections had to be built on uneven grounds which is pretty normal in landscaping but the tops of such walls look wavy instead of straight. It took Mr. Craig three times to get it close to right. Some of the retaining wall blocks show mismatching on the corners also. A  concrete pad for jacuzzi was built unevenly resulting in a creation of paddle underneath and side of tub. The water in fact traveled into a dry crawling space underneath a wooden door. You can't retain water in paddles as it will create health hazards. I ended up using another concrete company to re-do the job because Mr. Craig refused to fix it. The fence panels were installed in a way that you can't really comfortably open and close one of the doors without using two hands. It's common sense. Mr. Craig chose the easiest way to install the door section which needed to be undone and re-installed. I never know when Mr. Craig and his crew came as they seldom showed up on agreed dates and times. 
How I found Mr. Craig? Google! before I signed up for Angieslist! I was sold on the idea and presentation that Mr. Craig studied landscaping at NC State and a visit to one of his customers nearby.  Despite of his substandard skills professionally, Mr. Craig seems to be a good and courteous person as an individual. 

It went great.  My yard is probably the best looking yard in the neighborhood.  They do everything around they yard not just mowing and pulling weeds.  They can do landscaping work and he recently installed a large fire pit in my yard.  It looks wonderful.  He is kind of expensive, but the work he does is top-notch.
