Mr. Rice (Jim) called and was able to give me an estimate that sounded fair so I set up an appointment with him. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. He arrived on time, was totally professional, and did a great job. He replaced two faucets (one in the kitchen, one in a bathroom) and repaired a leaky valve under the kitchen sink. The bathroom faucet (complex, 3-hole, widespread) was a bit of a bear. The diagram and some screws were missing but he got the job done. Even though things ran a bit longer than anticipated, the final bill was very reasonable. One last note... I accidentally gave Mr. Rice a second check that was stuck to the one I'd paid him with. Two minutes later, the doorbell rang and he returned it. Totally honest. It was a pleasure doing business with him. I highly recommend him.
