Jeff and his MJC builder team did a great job.  We bought a huge house in a short sale situation.  The house had not been lived in for 3 years and had some MAJOR work to be done.  Jeff was with us from the beginning to do a thorough examination of the house to ensure we understood the extent of the work that would need to be done, ensure we were making a good decision on buying the house and  that we had a good offer price, given all the work that had to be done.  He provided a detailed estimate of the required work that turned out to be 90% accurate - that is outstanding given the amount of work that this house needed.  There were only a couple of unexpected things such as some termite damage and some hidden structural deficiencies that were only found after demo was begun.  Everything else had been noted by Jeff and his crew and was in the estimate.  Jeff and his team were proactive in providing cost-effective options for the repairs and remodeling and were very transparent in the billing.  They kept us up-to-date on decisions and communications.  The quality of the team's work was also excellent - there was only one part of a tiled 3rd bathroom that we asked to be re-done, which they did.  Again - that is outstanding given the number of projects required to re-hab the house.  We are very happy with the job they did and would highly recommend Jeff and his crew.  The painters and the rest of his crew take great pride in their work and it certainly came out in the finished product!  We have had many complements on our "new" house - it is truly a showplace now - thanks to MJC Builders!
