Lowe's - Franklin Square

I bought the utility building but they couldn’t come and put it in until the end of August. I wasn’t too happy about having to wait that long. They hire outside contractor for that. I really wasn’t too happy about having to wait that long, because I didn’t have anywhere to put my lawnmower and stuff, so I had to leave everything over at my son’s house. I didn’t like that. The utility building was about a $1,000. They had a sale on that also, but I really didn’t appreciate having to pay another $1,000 for them to deliver it and put it together. The utility building, after I bought the utility building and paid them to come out and deliver and put it together, it was about $2000. It was either pay them the money or find somebody to put it together for me. Yeah, they charged me $1,000 to deliver and put it together. I was not happy about that. It was ridiculous. Buying it was fine, but it was fine, but the delivery and the set up and the price of the delivery was horrible. It was ridiculous. The price of the building wasn’t, but the other was. They did a great job putting the building together. I didn’t appreciate having to wait that long. Lowe’s hired, evidently, they buy the building from an outside contractor and they have that contractor deliver it and set it up. I would use them again. I can’t live without them. I wish I could. That place is so expensive. Everything is so expensive.

It grey. I didn’t need anything fancy. It’s a side-by-side with an ice-maker in the door. That’s all I needed. It’s a nice refrigerator. They had a sale I think it was 30% off and I had a 10% off coupon for buying the house, so I got 40% off. I think after all of that I paid like $700 or $800 after the discounts. It was awesome. Everything was good. Two people came out to deliver and hook up the refrigerator. It took them maybe about an hour. They cleaned up behind themselves and everything.

Cabinets arrived the day they were promised. Installer finished installation in less than two days. He was punctual, polite, and professional. He did a great job. We are very pleased.

While the store is probably stocked as well as any other in the chain, finding something is a challenge. Even a greater challenge is finding an employee to assist you. It's completely and quot;self-serviceand quot; , with very few employees, much less any who are knowledgeable with the products and their features. When I asked a question of one associate in the plumbing section, her answer was to read the label on the package to me. No help there! Similar experiences with electrical and hardware. I very rarely visit that store any more.

The sales rep at Lowe's - Franklin Square knew exactly what I wanted and needed so I bought the one that she suggested.It took a little while but she was looking for the best discount for me and that was nice too and I was pleased with the price. They delivered it before they said they would.

I liked that everything was very professional, but I disliked that they required payment in full and ahead. It took them three to four weeks to get the work done and they got to use my money all that time. I'm not thrilled about that and if it had been a Jo Blow contractor I'd have said just go away. But I figured I'd have some recourse since Lowe's is an established company. The guy I dealt with was good, he'd call and check to make sure things were going well. I would use them again if they did not require all the money up-front.

I ordered a dishwasher as they did not have it at the store and I had did my research on the particular model. When they did the install the dishwasher was too small and I was not happy that that was not discovered in the beginning and no one had informed me that the brand tends to run small. They still did the install and I did not complain in the beginning. I got a call about 6 months later from Lowe's Headquarters asking if I was satisfied and I told them I was not. They worked really hard after this call to completely please me. They installed wood and insulation and it does look much better. I was really pleased that they tried to make it look as it should have in the beginning.

It was very good, no complaints. They are good to deal with. They were professional and easy going. They were also neat, courteous, and prompt in the job.

The purchase and delivery of the flooring went smoothly with one exception - the delivery personnel left the flooring in our garage. Laminate flooring is supposed to acclimatize in the house for at least 2 days prior to installation. (Note, we contacted Lowe's regarding this issue and they offered us a credit on our delivery as a result.) Our first contractor was not able to start on the scheduled date because of this issue and his schedule was so full we could not reschedule with him for two weeks. Because, we wanted the flooring installed by a certain date, we went with a second contractor of Lowe's. Bill did a fabulous job. He and his crew moved our heavy furniture(living and dining rooms), removed the carpeting, installed the flooring, cleaned up and put our furniture back in place in one day. They did an awesome job!

The certified Pergo installer called to schedule the installation, arrived on time, and COMPLETED THE JOB IN ONE DAY! The installer was neat, removed all debris, and was pleasantly professional. We are extremely pleased with the workmanship.

The designer did an excellent job with our kitchen. The job was completed in a timely fashion. Everyone was professional and were a pleasure to work with.

The company did an excellent job helping us choose the correct tile and getting the right amount for our kitchen. Everyone from the company was very professional and worked well with us.

HAD TO STAY ON TOP OF EMPLOYEES-NOT GOOD AT RETURNING CALL. MY JOB WAS NOT "A PRIORITY". SEVERAL DELAYS IN PROCESS-NO ONE APOLOGIZED. DENNIS BAKE RIS APPLIANCES IS EXCELLENT. HE KNOW HIS STUFF.
