Adam Donaldson

Adam Donaldson responded to a posting I placed on Craigslist.com for a plumber. We exchanged emails and Adam spoke directly with my husband, who gave him directions to our home. After arriving, Adam insisted we owe him a $90 non-refundable trip charge (non-refundable as in will not apply to our $1000 bill if we use his services). We told Adam we were not aware of a trip charge and he became quite belligeremt. In Adam's defense, we didn't ASK if there was a trip charge, but he didn't volunteer the information either. When my husband offered to spilt the difference (we pay $45 towards the trip charge), Adam became agressive towards my husband to the point I thought I was going to have to phone the police (of course I didn't say this, I just started looking around for the phone). We ended up paying him and asking him to leave but quite frankly, I'm a little disturbed that he now knows where we live. I do NOT recommend using this plumbing contractor.
