"Thanks for the kind words and the A rating. You have many choices in the companies selling solar and we are glad you chose us! Wishing you a very prosperous 2016!"
Highly recommend this company. Customer service is excellent! - professional, knowledgeable, on-time, on-point.
In a day or two he was there to discuss my needs and he got enough information from me to do a turn key quote on the job.
I got several bids from other solar installers, but after reviewing all the others, I decided to use Joe's quote even though he was not the lowest bidder.
It was all a pleasant experience and Joe did an excellent job. There were a couple of landscape issues that I had questions about and Joe took care of it.
An employee at my farm threw a rock with a lawn mower and broke a solar panel 3 or 4 months after the install. I called Joe and he immediately ordered a new panel. Joe came and installed the panel and he only charged me for his cost on the material and he did not add any labor or service charge.
I have called Joe several times in the last year and he has always been available to help with any questions or issues that I may have had.
He is very courteous and professional.
Southeast Solar knows their business and it shows in their work.
Joe gives a lot of attention to small details.
Joe will always do a little more than is required by the contract you have with him.
I have made at least 3 request for service since the panels were installed and Joe was always there the same day or the next day.
I would highly recommend Southeast Solar and Supply, LLC.
Quality of work was outstanding, never cut corners. Always made certain to show me details of install as it progressed. Even hidden work, like pulled cable he always went a step over to make it neat and efficient.
Communication was thorough an ongoing through the whole process, I always knew what was going on and what was coming next.
But beyond the quality of work and reasonable cost is the customer service. Any time I called Joe, he always made time to discuss my questions and help solve any issues. My most recent contact with him was just last week. My solar hot water system tripped the ground fault and was not running. Even though all my equipment is well past warranty he went through possible causes, told me a couple things to try and told me if that did not work to call him back and he would come check it out. (BTW, hot water is up and running again, thanks)
I recommend Joe and his company highly. Not just because his prices are reasonable and the work quality is outstanding, but because of the customer service after the job that he provides. It truly provides peace of mind on a project like this to know that he will still have my back for any issues.
First, Joe Sheffield is very professional. He responded to emails quickly and he addressed all my questions thoroughly. Second, he handled all the paper work, I was expecting that I would have to do something but I didn't. Everything was handled from start to finish without any problems. He also explained what would happen at each step. His crew did the install pretty quickly, I think it only took two days, maybe three but it's an A-frame house with a very steep roof so I would think a more traditional roof would be easier. Finally the panels look great, they're not nearly as big as I had imagined.
We spent, I think it was around $25,000 for the system, but there's still the federal and state tax credits so after it's all said and done the total cost will be less than $9,000. The tax credits carry over for multiple years but I wouldn't wait because 2016 is the last year (I think).
