Lakeside general contracting, is without a doubt absolutely the best Contractor I’ve ever worked with. Mike Smith started the job when he said he would and finished the job when he said he would ….he was beyond meticulous. He suggested many quality improvements and cost reduction Solutions. In life you get what you pay for,but most of the times a whole lot less. He made the remodeling of two bathrooms exceptionally easy for me 1500 miles away. I can’t say enough good things in the small Paragraph without sounding like it’s an ad. My wife and I have an estate in the Adirondacks that we only go to a few times a year. Our bathroom was in dire need of a renovation and we hired this fine company. From the first contact with these people we knew that we had made an excellent choice. They had top notch communication with us as we were 4 hours away at one of our other houses. Everyday they sent us updates and video of how things were progressing. Any little hiccups that we had that were our fault he handled fairly and quickly. All in all a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend.

So I hire Mike for a bathroom remodel and I was blown away at the quality put into the project from the start but the finish product was so incredibly pleasing I decided to let him move right into my kitchen for a new backsplash install. We hired Mike after a long search trying to find the right contractor for our bathroom project. Mike was absolutely exceptional from the very beginning. The remodel was very challenging and Iâ m extremely particular with the details and design aspects of my home. Mike came in and transformed the space into my dream bathroom. This was an emergency repair of an ocean, side, dock, and stairway down to the beach. It had washed away with a big storm. Mike came in and tore out all the bad lumber and essentially built us a new deck with nice stairs down to the beach.. This was done in three days without instruction and looked gorgeous after we were done. He even put in a bench for us to enjoy. I canâ t believe he did this so quickly all by himself! It was a sturdy quality, build!

Mike remodeled our bathroom to make it handicap safe. Work involved removing tub, shower stall and wall in between and building a custom roll-in shower with numerous ADA compliant grab bars, and then tiling rest of bathroom. Work was all professionally done, on schedule and on budget. He kept us informed and involved through out the project to ensure new shower (40 inches wide x 109 inches deep x 109 high) met all needs of a handicapped owner with severe mobility challenges. I am very pleased with his professionalism and quality of work. Mike and I are both veterans with very high standards and expectations. Mike met all our requirements and lived up to all my high expectations. I highly recommend him!

Lake SIde TIle and Remodeling was a great find! Mike walked through my bathroom and before he left our initial meeting, I had a good handle on the cost and timeline of my bathroom remodel project. Mike completed the remodel on time and within the original estimated cost. Mike was here every morning on-time and kept me aware of what was to be accomplished each day. Mike's tile work is impressive. He took an old and tired bathroom (with tub), gutter the entire room, relocated some plumbing, and created a beautiful modern bathroom with a walk in shower that looks like it is off the pages of House Beautiful! We are thrilled with all of the finishes on the custom shower, the new tile floor, vanity and fixtures. Remodeling can be a hectic endeavor, but Mike made the project enjoyable. He took the time to set up exhaust fans to keep any construction dust in the house to a minimum, and when the remodel was completed, all of the debris was carted away and there were no signs of the construction having been done other than the new bathroom. Mike was fantastic to work with! Always on time and came on the days he said he would. Great communication throughout the project, so I was always aware of where he was in the process. Stuck to the timeframe he gave me before the project started, allowing me to get other things scheduled. This is because he works on one project (and one project only) until completion. Minimal waste of materials due to precision cuts, years of experience, and attention to details. Always left the area clean when leaving. Highly, highly recommend if you want stones and tile to be professionally done.
