Foster Lake & Pond Management

Description of Work: I contacted them to discuss my pond, which needed a broad renovation strategy. Based on my current needs they recommended a fountain to get the water moving. They were very responsive to my immediate needs and provided a professional written estimated by email within a couple days. I have not had the service performed yet but will in the near future. Very quick and professional.

Description of Work: I had Foster Lake & Pond Management come out to my home and dredge out a small island that was blocking the inlet. This project alone costed $8795.00. Over the years beginning in approximately 2005, I've used Foster Lake & Pond Management several times to manage and treat two ponds in my yard, one in the front and another in the back, each about 3/4 acre in size. The first time I called Foster Lake, I had an unknown (to me) vine growing around the edge of my front yard pond and across the top toward the middle and it had virtually canvassed the entire pond. I had previously worked with the State of North Carolina Agriculture Department to determine what the vine was, only to get the run around and literally no assistance from them. I called Foster Lake & Pond Management after seeing one of their billboards in Garner. They sent a technician out to my house who immediately identified the vine and treated appropriately to get rid of it. After applying the treatment and stocking my pond with Carp (at my own request), I've not had a problem since. I then purchased a maintenance contract for Foster Lake to come out on a monthly basis to treat and manage my ponds. The next major project I had several months later was with my back yard pond. Shortly after I purchased my home, the next door neighbor started complaining that my pond was overflowing into his yard when it rained heavily and flooded his foundation. I called Foster Lake to come out and survey the pond to determine if their really was a problem. After their inspection I was advised that there was nothing obviously wrong with my pond, but if I wanted, Foster Lake could buildup the spillway and cleanup the shoreline that bordered both properties. I agreed to have this work completed even though I felt my next door neighbor was being less than truthful in his assessment of the situation, after I discussed the issue with the Foster Lakes technician. I've also used Foster Lake to clear cut my back yard with a box blade and clean up my property lines with over growth on several occasions. I have always received really great service from Foster Lake & Pond Management. Their work is second to none. Keep up the good work!
