From the initial contact through completion of the work and follow up, Erik was punctual and very professional. I was looking for someone who had experience applying TWP brand oil stain. This stain can be a bit tricky to apply but produces a great look when done right. Erik was able to leverage his experience and give us a great job at a fair price. He even texted back several days after the job to be sure everything was ok after a heavy rain storm (it was). I highly recommend Erik.

We hired Erik, from the Deck Doctor, for the second time to perform some touch up work on our deck that we had coated with Deck Over the previous year. Erik also applied stained to our privacy fence, our raised beds, and to our pergola. The fence, raised bed walls and pergola were raw wood, never having been stained before. Erik did a great job for us and performed his work in a very professional manner. His pricing was good, he was prompt, and he kept us in the loop on everything that was going on with our deck, fence, raised beds and pergola. Kudos to Erik and the Deck Doctor!

Erik Brown did an excellent job with the low pressure powerwashing and staining of my deck. Erik is very knowledgeable about which kind of stain is appropriate for your deck. He discussed with me which particular stain that he would use. During the application of the stain, he brushed and rolled the deck surface to make sure that all parts of the deck were completely covered. I'm really happy with the final results!

We called Erik and requested a quote for staining our lower deck, staining the trim on our upper deck, and painting a rose arbor on the upper deck. When he realized he was running a little late to arrive at our house to look at the job, he called to let us know he was delayed. He then arrived promptly at The later time. Erik's quote was reasonable and he was knowledgeable, so we decided to hire him to do the job. He arrived on time the day he had scheduled the work. He had power washed the deck on the previous Friday so it would be completely dry for staining the following Monday as scheduled. Erik is a total professional, and he did an excellent job power washing and staining our deck and trim and painting the arbor. He communicated effectively throughout the process and was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Erik to anyone for power washing, staining or painting.

At first ,I had talked to Gonzales Painting ( very highly rated in Angie's list) as I was contracting with them for the trim work on the house. But they did not strip decks and we wanted to change the color.
We went to the local PPG store as that was the brand of the last stain used on the deck. They recommended the Deck Doctor. So we gave him a call and he came out and discussed our options for changing the color. He gave us an estimate that was more than fair and so we gave him the job.
We worked together on an acceptable schedule. He came when he said he would and the work was finished to our satisfaction.
We will have him back for any further work needed on the deck.
