David Pruitt Electrical Co.

Pruitt Electrical Co. was recommended by one of the boat lift contractors I had recently gotten a quote for a new boat lift.  I contacted Sam Pruitt (owner) for a quote to run some wiring needed for the new boat lift.  He came out and I reviewed the job with him.  We discussed the details and I was satisfied that he would do a good job.  Several days after his visit I received a quote that was reasonable as compared to a previous quote from another electrical contractor.  I scheduled the job to be completed on 3/14/13.  Apparently, Sam was busy on 3/14 and sent another lead man to complete the job.  I explained the job to the new lead man and he completed the job in good time.  However, upon inspection of the wiring, I discovered that he didn't wired up the dock lights correctly and I pointed out that the  conduit run under the floating part of the dock probably wasn't long enough to avoid being damage when the water level got low.  They corrected the light wiring before they left and I contacted Sam later about the cable length.  I did have a bit of a problem in getting Sam to return my calls and I thought I was going to be stuck with a short conduit since I had all ready paid for the work.  However, Sam finally got back in touch with me and he was extremely nice about wanting to take care of the problem.  He came out and inspected the job and agreed that the conduit needed to be lengthened. Sam admitted that the lead man he used on the job didn't have much dock wiring experience.  Sam returned a week later and lengthen the conduit at no additional charge.  I was extremely pleased with the integrity of Sam wanting to make sure that the work done by his company was done correctly.  I would recommend Pruitt Elect. for any dock wiring you need but make sure Sam is on the job.
