4 weeks to get them to come and fix my washer. They were unable to fix it and left it completely unusable. Then they call me 4 times in 5 days threatening to put a lien on me because I have paid them yet, even though it had only been 5 days since they billed me.

I placed a service request on whirlpool's website for a noise my washing machine was making. On Thursday Shane Miller from Convienient Repair came out, ran some diagnostics, and told me what was wrong. Well now since he left the machine won't work at all. I texted him at the number he had texted me from earlier in the day and he said he just forgot to turn off the diagnostic mode and told me how to reset it. I did everything he told me to do to and it still isn't working. And then he stopped responding to my texts and won't answer my calls or call me back. And then the company blocked me on Facebook after I reached out there. I am absolutely livid. I paid $117 for him to come make my machine inoperable.

Issue was looked into and we both agreed not to make the needed repairs at a cost close to $300 on a ten year old appliance.

My washer was leaking enough to fill halfway the drip pan underneath it. I had a positive experience with Convenient Appliance Service, Inc in the past when their technician repaired my dryer. So, I called them. On 02/22/2017, I was scheduled for a repair technician to arrive between 1000 and 1200. I was told during initial call that there was a $71 trip fee along with parts and labor charge. Edward K., the technician, called to say that he was on his way. He arrived within the time frame given, introduced himself and handed me his business card, asked me about the problem (I had siphoned out the water in drip pan and cleared the area in the laundry so he would have room to work), then he proceeded to test the washer by running a cycle. Most of the time was spent trying to find the resource of the leak because it was not obvious. Edward let me watch as the washer cycled. Eventually, he found what seemed to be the source. Edward diagnosed the problem as need for a new siphon break. He said that he had to order thet part and would come back to install it. There would be no trip fee for the return to install the siphon break, but still charge for parts and labor. I was called and told the part was in and scheduled the installation for 03/02 at 4:00 pm. Edward installed the siphon break and ran the washer to test it. No leaks. Total cost 216.41

I read the reviews of Convenient Appliance Service, Inc. and decided to contact them when the drum in my dryer stopped rotating. On 09/10/2015, I called and left a message about my problem. Later that day, Ryan returned my call, listened to my problem, and gave me an estimate of $157 total. He said a technician named Josh would be scheduled to take care of the problem on 09/11 between 0900 and 1100. Josh would call me about 15-20 mins. before he arrives. On 09/11, Joshua M. called me at 0820 to say he would arrive at 0850. At 0820, Joshua called and said that he was given a last-minute emergency call that would take about an hour to complete and said that he would call me when he finished and was on his way. Later he called to say he was on his way and finally arrived at 0955. I had already cleared space in the laundry room so that he would have room to work in case he had to take the dryer apart. So, when he arrived he was able to work quickly to diagnosis the problem. He found that the drum belt had broken. He installed a new belt and tested the dryer to see that not just the drum, but everything else on the dryer was working. Total cost $146.11. I like the fact that Convenient Appliance Service responded in a timely manner to my initial call, that their technician kept me informed when he had an emergency, and that he was still able to arrive at my home within the 0900-1100 window I was initially given, that the technician was polite and respectful of me and of my home, and most important, that the technician was able to solve my problem, and the cost was less than the estimate.

They are the only whirlpool repair people. A new motherboard was needed, etc., cost was approx. 30% cost of fridge which was only three yrs old. Very nice people, good service. New fridges with bells and whistles have more expensive parts. Still love the fridge with two drawers and two doors.

I have a jenn-air cooktop and one of my burners had stopped functioning.  We were fairly certain it was due to a faulty switch as it just spun and the burner never turned on.  After calling Jenn-air customer service, we were referred to convenient appliance to perform the repair.
I asked for an afternoon appointment on October 31st as I knew I would be working third shift the night before (which is something I only have to do occasionally, but it allowed me to be off on Friday to schedule the appointment).  On October 30th they called to reschedule me for the morning.  I said that I preferred afternoon and they said they could do sometime between 11 and 1 and would come as close to 1 as possible.  The technician called at 10:30am and was at my house 15 minutes later.  I was not pleased by this, but he was quick in assessing the cooktop and confirming that a new switch was needed.  I was surprised to find out that I would need to schedule an additional appointment to have the switch repaired.  However, jenn-air is not a common brand and the parts are expensive.
I scheduled the repair appointment for Friday November 14th when my husband could be home to meet them between 3 and 5.  As they don't offer evening or weekend appointments, my husband arranged to leave work early.  The technician called at 5 to tell us that he was delayed and could not be there until 7.  As we had plans for the evening we could not accommodate his request to move the appointment when he called at the end of the appointment window. He said that he had an appointment scheduled in the morning and could possibly come after that around 1pm.  We agreed.  At noon the following day I received a call from the receptionist wanting to reschedule me for Tuesday the following week.  I asked why the technician could not come at 1 like he had suggested the night before and she said that he never said that and wasn't supposed to be working anyways.
At this point I was extremely frustrated with how my experience had gone and made that clear.  I was called on Monday by the owner who apologized for my experience and gave me a discount on my repairs.  He also assured me that the technician would be on time the following day and would not ask to rearrange my appointment again.  The technician arrived on time on Tuesday and completed the repair.
Had the manager not called me and offered me something for my trouble, I would have given this company a much worse review.  This was simply my experience and I hope not the norm.  I was satisfied that the manager addressed my concerns and apologized for the inconvenience.

I was directed to Convenient Appliance Service by Whirlpool Corp. due to a washing machine issue, where Mark was eager to make things right and get us back up and running again as soon as possible.  From the very beginning they were quite professional, even patient and flexible working with me on scheduling the repair.  Their highly involved repair was solid, quality workmanship, with which I am highly pleased.
I have found myself a new appliance repair source, and I highly recommend them to everyone.

They called the manufacturer and learned it was an issue with the main board. They came back out and attempted to fix it but it did not fix it. They did not charge me for that day and he spent quite a bit of time working on it.

We've had three service calls using Convenient Appliances in the past several months! The personnel in the office are extremely polite and go out of their way to be of service, especially Ryan! On each occasion the service technician was prompt, polite, professional and knowledgeable!
Our first experience with Convenient Appliances was to verify we had an issue with our Whirlpool Aqua Lift Cleaning System. This issue was later resolved by the range being replaced by Whirlpool!
Our second service call was to replace the damaged door liner on the replacement range.
Our third service call was to replace the circuit board in the microwave.
As noted earlier, all of this was warranty work through Whirlpool.
On one occasion Whirlpool put us in contact with another local appliance repair service, there were several issues with this company which included not showing up for the service call and rude employees! At this point we contacted Whirlpool and requested to use Convenient Appliances again!
We highly recommend Convenient Appliance Service!

I am new to Angie's list and had never used a company recommended on this list. However, I am now sold on Angie's List and on Convenient Appliance Service, Inc.
I emailed the company through the Angie's list service line after hours and received a response from Ryan almost immediately. When we spoke on the phone, Ryan was kind and courteous and scheduled an appointment for early THE NEXT DAY - to fit my schedule. He also told me the information he needed in order to make sure the technician would be prepared to work on my dryer when he arrived. I was very impressed.
When Ryan and Josh arrived at my home (exactly on time), they got right to work. They examined my dryer AND the vent. Upon noticing the enormous build us of dust and lint, Ryan cleaned out my vent at not extra cost. This was no easy feat, as his cleaning tool got stuck in all the buildup causing him to need to go into the crawl space to clean from the other side. (my vent probably had not been cleaned out in over 10 years). Ryan did all of this and remained as kind and pleasant as could be.
After examining the dryer, Ryan informed me that the repairs would be more extensive due to the motor being burned out. He wrote up the estimate on the total repair and gave me the option of going forward or just replacing the dryer. His recommendation was that I replace the dryer since the repair would cost almost as much as a dryer. I agreed and asked him how much I owed for the work he had done so far and he said..... $79.00. Please understand, at this point Ryan and Josh had been at my home for over an hour, and Ryan had cleaned out my dryer vent. Incredible service!!!!!!!
I was so happy with the work they did, I offered to give them a tip in addition to the cost. But they said, No, we don't need a tip. We are just sorry we could not get you up and running. WOW!!!
I would use this company again in a minute. I highly recommend them.

Jeremy was actually on a call to fix my parent's dryer, when they mentioned that my washer was only partially working. Since he was ahead of schedule in his day, he added me in and came straight over (I live close by). He had the parts with him and the washer was working again in 20 minutes. I appreciated that he also gave me some good tips for my washer, dryer and dishwasher, too. Such a great service experience!

The replacement part was the big expense but I was advised ahead of time what it would cost and chose to fix the machine. The technician knew just what was wrong the fist time I explained the intermittent problem unlike a previous repairman (not with this firm) who tried a number of things none of which worked. Don't judge your technician by their apparent age, Jeremy a very youthful looking tech was quite expert in knowing machine parts, how and why they fail and fixing the problem.

We purchased a new freezer from Lowes and the interior light didn't work. Lowes scheduled the service appointment and Brandon with Convenient Appliance Service arrived within two days. l He was on time, very courteous and very knowledgeable.
We would definitely consider using them again if we needed service on another home appliance.
