We have had a contract with them for inspections plus repairs. They are about the only ones that we have used. They are careful about the work they do and they are honest.

Not as expected. Looking at other companies to provide service in the future. Complaint has been filed with financing company as I am not happy with the purchase. I mistakenly trusted Comfort Services since they had always treated me right. The new system was installed in April and I have been unhappy since. I have contacted them multiple times about my dissatisfaction with the amount of noise the new air handler makes. The supervisor who came onsite (after I had to make multiple calls) was dismissive, did not provide his contact information and simply recommended a better air filter. I was to follow up if that did not fix my concern with the amount of noise. It did not fix the problem. I contacted Comfort Services and Carrie was wonderful, she passed the information along. Supervisor never returned my call. I got a second opinion, at my expense, to see if there was anything that can be done. Nothing can be since the cause of the noise is the motor in the air handler. I regret trusting this company as now I have a noisy air handler that requires the TV to be turned up every time the air cuts on. Rather than adding value to my house it has taken away value, I get questions about "why is that so loud" as soon as someone new comes in the house. Not sure what I am going to do come time to sell it, maybe not turn the air on. Very disappointed in how everything has played out and that I am basically out of luck. As customer who let them handle maintenance and repairs I never expected to be dismissed like I was. Lesson learned the hard way for sure.

Bottom Line ....they are running a scam. The tech diagnosed this bogus "voltage absorption system" and wanted $602 to repair it. I called their bluff...I knew it was the capacitor (about a $30 part)!!! When i called the service manager..the receptionist said "he was not available" They called the Tech and he promptly left!!! DO NOT USE!

This company runs, from my point of view, something of a scam. My outside AC unit was low on freon. The technician did try to sell me a broader / more expensive inspection / cleaning service. I don't have any particular issue with this part of the night's activity... The scam, again my view, is that instead of charging per pound for each pound of added freon, he / Comfort Services charges a fixed fee of $432.00 for "Up to 4 lbs of freon".... Certainly legal but very expensive compared to even the current inflated prices for R22 freon by the pound. Just be aware that IF you use this company, they pack the pricing such that you will likely pay a lot more (approximately $215 per pound vs about $100 or so if you just buy it by the pound) for freon replacement. IF I had understood this before I started looking for service on my AC unit, I would have used someone else with whom I had established exactly what their pricing model looks like. Now that I have received an expensive bit of education, I know better what questions to ask before I get service performed. We purchased this house just a bit under 2 years ago, knowing that we will have to replace (relatively soon) both furnaces and AC units currently being used in the house. Comfort Services will lose out on bidding on these new units due to how they conduct their business.. You can probably, in my opinion, get this specific type of service done cheaper than Comfort Services of Garner...

Comfort Services came out to my home because my air conditioning unit was not working. The guy said nothing was wrong except the unit needed cleaning. Was talked into a 279 cleaning package that included 3 visits per year. A few days later we realized the air conditioning unit was not fixed and had frozen over. We called back and they sent someone. This guy said he couldnt do anything until the air had been off for 24 hrs. We turned off the air and he said he would be back the next evening. They never showed up. No call, nothing. We had ro turn elsewhere to fix our air conditioning. The following week we contacted to express our problem and ask for a refund for the year package since we never want to have this company work on our home again. They said they would call back in 24 hours. They never called. They are a fraudulent company that intentionally cheats people out of money. They didn't even diagnose the original problem correctly

Rob Monaco and his crew had the highest quality and the most competitive price. They were on time and easy to work with, excellent quality materials and workmanship, and I will call them again when my second system needs replacement. Came with a free year of bi-annual system check -ups. Best HVAC COMPANY I EVER WORKED WITH! Freddy, their service tech just completed my spring system check and ditto on all the above for him- very thorough and professional.

The tech replaced the exhaust fan in my gas furnace. Because my aging furnace is not easy to get to, I signed on to a one year contract that includes 2 more service inspections. The contract also gave me a discount on the replacement exhaust fan. The technician was professional, courteous and on time. He didn't balk at the mud, he had brought a jump suit for dirty situations. He was also able to explain to me in great detail what he was doing. I like detailed explanations, they let me know why I shouldn't try to fix something myself.

We selected Comfort Services because of past service's and they offered a 3 year warranty on labor on the new gaspack.
Installation went well, workmanship of piping, sheetmetal and electrical work was vey similar as compared to a previous installation of our old Goodman gaspack 16 years ago. Another concern we had was to make sure if we sold our home the gaspack parts warranty would be transferred to the new owners, they assured us Trane's warranty would do that for a small fee.

We have a maintenance contract with them. They have been very reliable and very good in helping us with some problems we had. Their prices are comparable and competitive.

An appointment was scheduled for the next day at a time convenient for me (late Friday afternoon). I received a call telling me the men could come a little early, if okay with me. The men were friendly and professional. Everything was explained thoroughly to me. I felt very comfortable asking questions. The broken part was quickly replaced and our AC is working well. We will definitely use Comfort Services again.

Our AC unit had stopped working the night before. I called in the morning and they were able to come out that afternoon. In fact, they were the only company out of three I spoke with that would be able to come same day. I was given a time window of 3PM to 6PM and they called 30 min ahead of time so we were able to make it home from work to meet him. He said that our capacitor on our AC unit was bad and replaced it. He showed us the pricing booklet for the cost of the capacitor so we knew he wasn't pulling a number out of thin air, although after some quick research we realized the markup is quite substantial from if we had purchased the part on our own but that is to be expected. He was in and out in about 20 minutes and our AC is working great now. They had a coupon online for their service fee but they went ahead and charged us the coupon price without our having to mention it or present a printout of the coupon. The new capacitor also has a 5 year warranty. I would use this company again.

Mr. Stephenson was very thorough when presenting the quote. At the time of presenting the quote he also showed proof of insurance, licenses, training, etc. He made sure I understood everything and that I didn't have any questions or concerns. I obtained quotes from 3 different companies, and Comfort Services had the best price. I decided to go with Comfort Services due to them having the best price, Mr. Stephenson's thoroughness when presenting the quote, and the fact that they were installing Carrier equipment. The crew showed up right on time on the day of install, and they did an excellent job. I didn't move enough of my "junk" out of the way, and the crew moved what needed to be moved without complaint. Mr. Stephenson stopped by twice during the install to make sure everything was going OK, drop off paperwork, etc. When they finished it was VERY obvious from first glance that they had done an excellent job and were very thorough in their work. The furnace had been replaced by the previous owner when I originally bought the house, and it was quite apparent that the Comfort Services crew had done a MUCH better job than whoever had installed the old furnace. The storage room where my furnace is located was actually cleaner when they finished than before they started!! I knew they would clean up their mess, but never expected them to also clean up mine! At the completion of the work, Mr. Stephenson told to not hesitate to contact him directly if I found any problems or had any questions. It's too cold to try out the central air right now, but the new furnace is working MUCH better than the old one and is MUCH quieter! My upstairs and downstairs used to always be several degrees different in temperature, and when I checked a few minutes ago the temperature was the SAME both upstairs and downstairs! AWESOME!!! I absolutely would not hesitate to hire Comfort Services again in the future, and would highly recommend them to anyone!

It went out just about a week before Christmas so we didn't have any heat downstairs. I called them that morning and I think they had somebody come out right that afternoon actually. He looked at it and determined that we did indeed need a new unit because something had burnt out; it was already thirteen years old. So, he called somebody I guess in sales and they came over that night and talked about my options. We settled down on a price and I think it was Thursday night and they came out Tuesday morning to install it and installed it in about half a day. We were very pleased with them. I thought the price was good. I would probably use them to do my heating & A/C services.
