Roberto showed up on time, checked our system, explained what system checks were performed and was completed in about an hour. He is a thorough and approachable Technician we have worked with before with Bowman and highly recommend their service. Thanks and looking forward to next service in 2024!!

Just perfect.

This is the 2nd time I used this company. The first time they installed a Furnace and 4 zone damper system. I was extremely pleased with the work they did on Quality and Price and Professionalism. This recent experience was not as big a job, a repair on an old upstairs Central AC unit. I was again very pleased with the Quality, Price, and Professionalism. Their mechanic, Ryan, was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He worked with me to understand and solve the problem, allowing me to get a few more years from this older unit. I will definitely do business with Bowman Mechanical if needed in the future.

That have to drill wells with a drill, which cost twelve thousand dollars. The well are two of them, which is why they cost so much. They government gave me a kick back of eleven thousand dollars. That was thirty three percent off. There are a few people who do Geo-Thermal. Its a bigger process to do. Its messy. They had just sent one of their managers for training. I was floundered how it was to be put together. As far as it went, it was still good. It was a big messy deal. They had to drill the wells, dispose of. Gravel driveway they tore up, they had to cut across the lawn. They knew what they were doing. One company told me what they wanted to do, and that didn't sound right. These people were experience. I had gotten other prices before. They treated me very well. I think on responsiveness would have been they sent their project manager off. They didn't have anyone to pick up the ball and direct, communicate with the customer to do what and when. They were disorganized. They were polite and nice. I went to the county and got a permit. They said what are you doing this for, we are suppose to get the permit. The county said that, what are you doing here. The contractor is suppose to get this together. That was embarrassing. They just need to get it together.

It went very well. I liked that both cases is the mechanics. They talk to me. What I need, and what I didn't need. They recommend that I buy my own filter, not buy their expensive filters. They gave me what I needed to buy. That impressed me.

They told me about the filters. I went ahead and bought the filters for the system, and had them ready. The second time they came out, I remember they showed me how to get them out, and put them in properly. They are telling me how to save money on both accounts, both times their maintenance men have help me. They advised me on the filters. They also let me know my filters did not need changing. They said they could go for a few more months. They hadn't seen me for two years. You won't need maintenance for the first two years. I contacted their office, and they knew who I was. They got someone out here. The communication issue I was talking about, was getting better.

The price is good. They've been keeping up fine. I didn't come in contact with them, I spoke to them on the phone.

They seem to know what they were doing and they followed through when they promised something. I liked dealing with the person assigned to me Robert Marshall. I'm satisfied.

Every aspect from to design to duct work to installation and test went perfect.
There are true professionals and would (and have) recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC systems.
This was a very custom home built on a large slab (solar) and Steve was involved from early on as the architect was drawing up plans so as to prepare for a efficient system, which it is.
since the system is so large and complex we had a few glitches and Andy was relentless, coming in at all hours to trouble shoot this little glitch we were having. he finally got it. Service for me was outstanding.
I can not say enough good about Bowman and the products they installed for me.

They came in, did the work, and now we have cold air. Our unit is a Trane Weathertron. These guys really knew what to do for our unit. Their prices are reasonable and their service was great. My husband was really impressed with how quickly they could get it done!

.We have used this service for a long time and have always been happy with them. Their personnel are very professional and friendly. They make emergency calls.

The technician, Adam, did arrive a little late, but he called ahead to let us know he would be arriving late. He was very nice and thorough. He even changed our pvc drain on our attic a/c unit, to help us avoid any future leaks. Also, the one unit upstairs is very difficult to work around and it is very hot upstairs, he never complained once. We appreciate him going above and beyond to help us out. We were very pleased with his work and would hire Bowman Mechanical Services again.

These guys knew their business with the geothermal and designed a system that met our needs at a price much lower than the other 3 groups we took quotes from.
They handled the well drilling through a sub-contractor and took care of the HVAC work themselves.

Additionally, they helped me pull all of the information I needed together to get the tax credits for this system. The total bill was $28,000, but after tax credits I only ended up paying around $9,000.

A year later the system still works great and we're saving ~$100 a month in our electric bill vs what we paid with the old system.

We are still unhappy. When the heat pump was first installed, it failed the electrical inspection twice before finally passing. According to the inspector, one of the reasons it failed was electrical wiring 101--we were given the impression that it was a corner-cutting maneuver. Approximately three months after it was installed, we woke up to a very chilly house--it was not working. A repairman came out, reported that something wasn't hooked up correctly and then we received a bill for $179 which I refused to pay because he himself admitted that it wasn't hooked up correctly. About 6 months later, when we switched over to AC, it broke again. The repairman who came out said it was due to humidity even though the gigantic unit was designed to be in the garage. He told me he duct-taped around it to keep it drier. In the fall of 2010, it broke again--a repairman came out 2 or three times--I don't think they really knew what the problem was, but it finally started working again. In January 2011 on one of the coldest days of the year (16 degrees, I think) it broke again. It had snowed, so the repairman wouldn't come to the house. I, myself, had gone to work, but had children in the house and was upset that he wouldn't come out, especially since, in my opinion, this unit had never worked properly for any length of time. I asked that they put us up in a hotel for the night which they did, but then billed me $200 for coming out because they said my one year warranty had expired. Yes, technically, it did--but the thing never worked properly for an entire year. They also tried to say it was our fault because one of the filters in the air return was missing (their repairman had removed it during the previous episode and we had not noticed). I didn't charge them for the hotel, but I refused to pay the bill. They also included in the bill, a letter refusing to provide service any longer. I woke up April 2 to a cold house again--the unit is not working again. It is my belief that the unit is either a lemon or they didn't put it together right in the first place and they have no idea how to fix it, thus they are refusing to have anything else to do with it. We are going to have it looked at by someone else and either have them fix it or if they say something is just permanently wrong with the unit, we will be considering other actions. I cannot stress enough how unpleasant this whole experience has been.

Andy did a great job. He studied the diagrams for our system before coming out and did a thorough job of troubleshooting the system. He fixed the problem, and tested the whole system (all three units) to truly make sure it was fixed. More than a month later we've not seen the problem again.

They are very friendly and courteous. I do not have any complaints about their work.
