Shannon did a great job buffing scratches out of my new acrylic bathtub. He charged $100 and scheduled the time to perform the services. I did not have to take time to meet for a quote and then a return visit. I was dismayed that my new air jet tub by Bain Ultra got scratched up by painters before I had a chance to even use it. I have the same tub at the place I am moving from and in ten years I could hardly find a scratch; I could only find light marks by looking very hard with strong light. The new tub had scratches all over it after the painters put their metal tools in it after removing the protection I provided. There were no deep gauges however. I am posting the only two scratch marks that show in pictures because they are red and dark; the ones with no color do not show up in images since there is no daylight in this bathroom. Shannon went straight to work and had the bathtub looking new again. He followed up by emailing an invoice. I was happy with the pricing, level of service, competence, politeness, convenience, follow through, and results.

Surface Specialists of the Triangle Inc did an amazing job. Shannon Warren always answered the phone promptly. He asked detailed questions and based on my responses, gave me a few potential outcomes. He told me how they would fix the damage depending on the extent along with potential costs. This put my mind at ease because I knew ahead of time what the repair could entail and the range of pricing. Our technician, Clay, notified me when he was on his way, arrived on time, and quickly and competently repaired the damage. He had me review his work and explained what he did. They did not try to get me to pay more than necessary and performed the repair to the level needed. I would absolutely use this company again and will recommend them to friends and family.

When we first built our house, our tub had a couple chips in it due to the workers dropping equipment on the tub after it was installed. Surface Specialists repaired this tub (as well as another tub in our house). The tub downstairs was refinished and looked like new. The tub upstairs was refinished but the overspray they used rubbed off. They were very responsive to my concerns and came back a couple times- and now the problem is completely fixed and the tub looks like new. I was very impressed by their professionalism despite having to come back a couple times to make it right.

I was I had two heavily stained/ dirty bathtubs in a condo I was preparing for sale. No amount of scrubbing made any difference and I was pretty sure the tubs would need replacing or at least refinishing. I called Shannon, owner of Surface Specialists and he asked for some photos of the tubs. After looking at them he said he could clean them and quoted a price of around $850 to do both tubs. Next day I got a call from one of his employees who said he thought he could clean them to my satisfaction for a price of $225.00. The appointment was made and after about two hours of cleaning, the both tubs looked nearly brand new. I couldn't be happier, First rate job.

Work was exemplary from taking off shoes to not track in dirt to ensuring none of the re-glaze touched any other surface in the bathroom.  The process required a large amount of sanding and yet, no dust remained after Shannon was finished.  And although the smell of the re-glaze product was quite strong, every effort was made to minimize this smell from escaping the bathroom.

We are very happy campers and would definitely use Surface Specialists again.  Really, really good service.

Shannon was punctual , honest and very professional. We called him to re-glaze a tub and after looking at it he offered to clean it explaining that we didn't need to spend the $ to reglaze it.  He saved us $100 and did a beautiful job. The tub looked BRAND NEW!

If I hadn't seen the hole he cut, I wouldn't have believed he had cut one. Shannon's work is awesome! It's an older tub, so I was concerned about the color match, and it is perfect! I will refer them to anyone and everyone!

They did a great job! My bathrooms look like new! They were prompt , courteous , conscientious .
They even came back the next day after I got off work to caulk and hang shower curtain rods.
I will use them again.

Spoke to Shannon twice and emailed a total of four times about having 2 countertops and a shower resurfaced. No response whatsoever. I have never left a bad review on Angie's List, but Surface Specialists was completely unprofessional.

Shannon gave us an estimate, helped us select the right color to refinish our bathtub, arrived on time and did a fabulous job. He pulled out all of the old caulk, created a slip free floor on the tub and re caulked. Just perfect and no additional charge. We would highly recommend him. A++

Mr Warren was great.  He was always punctual, kind, polite and answered all my questions, even the dumb ones.  He understood that we couldn't be there, so also was flexible about working with the plumber to have a good final product done in a timely manner.  His prices were fair and work was excellent.  We would definitely use him again!

Shannon brought back the finish of the cultured marble surface of our whirlpool tub and window seat.  It looks like new, very shiny. Shannon is a very pleasant person and cleaned up, leaving no evidence that he had worked there.

First, the owner Shannon contacted me immediately after my message on Angie's list. After I texted him a picture he quoted me the price and set up the appointment. Clay arrived on time and got straight to work. Did an amazing job! Would definitely call again! Prompt, professional and quality work-what more is there?

Shannon showed up on time and was flexible with the schedule on a Friday. Job was performed without any mess and the tub looked great.

Went very well. We had a glitch on the first schedule because he had a vehicle breakdown on the way to my house - but he called immediately, was very apologetic, and very professional about rescheduling.
