Tim was on time, courteous, and handled the work very professionally. He performed exactly as requested.

They are very conscientious, timely, honest and have a high level of integrity. They work hard to protect your property as they do the work, and are very reasonably priced.

This is the third time we've used Snell Tree Service. We contacted Tim Snell via e-mail and arranged a time for him to come by and give advice and an estimate for the job. He arrived on time, and after discussion he wrote up a proposal for our consideration. We then signed a contract and scheduled the job for about a week hence. Tim called in advance to let us know he was coming, showed up with one additional worker on time and did his usual professional job. One of the things we truly appreciate so much is the care he takes in working around gardens and in cleaning up after the job.

We have used Snell Tree Experts, for over a number of years, so this is not my first experience. He is extremely careful and conscientious about the safety of his crew and the careful protection of property. He is fair, reasonable and does a great job. We recommend him to all our friends and neighbors.

Bo, gave a reasonable estimate, and work was delayed due to Hurricane Irene for a month. Crew, was on time, worked without delay and cleaned up. The neighbors were impressed with care and professionalism of crew.

We have used Snell Tree Experts for various jobs for the past 3-5 years. Our most recent experience took place after heavy rain and winds came through the Triangle from Hurricane Irene. Part of one of our Bradford Pear trees broke off and landed in our neighbors' yard. Tim and his crew were extremely busy, but he kept me informed on when they would be able to remove the limb and cut the tree down. Tim has always been great to work with. We have recommended him to our friends and he will always be the first one we call when we have a need for tree services.

Tim Snell was punctual, professional, did a great job. He seems a very nice man, though we sense he has been burned by potential clients who took his consultation advice for free, then either did the work themselves or paid someone else to do it more cheaply (and likely not as well). We've used his service before, and will use it again.

We originally thought we had to take out the maple that Mr. Snell recommended we only trim. He explained everything about his reasoning and he was dead on with his advice. The large oak removal had us worried because it was big enough that if it fell, there is nowhere it could go without taking out someone's roof. He and his crew removed the tree and chipped it, filling in a couple of holes in the back yard completely! In order to do the work he also had to access the yard from a neighbor's driveway and we obtained permission for that. The neighbor later came over and told us how impressed she was with the professionalism they exhibited. Despite the large equipment that had to come in to do the work, the yard was not damaged and we are very pleased with every aspect of the work that was done.

Very well. Tim gave a thorough assessment of the health of the tree and the probability of problems, thoroughly described his process and provided proof of insurance.

This is the second time that I have used Tim Snell. Both times he was very professional and prompt. He showed up on time for the estimate, and he explained the options. In addition, he gave advice concerning other trees on the property. He arrived as scheduled with one other worker, and they did the work in a timely manner. Tim asked several questions to make sure that he was doing exactly what I wanted. He does excellent work at a fair price.

Tim arrived on time, spoke plainly and professionally, and gave me all of my options with no expectation of performing the services himself. He deduced that the tree had been struck by lightning in the past 6 or 7 years and had developed a decay column. This column had become a welcome home to carpenter ants. The tree will continue to deteriorate. He gave me prices for cabling and bracing and for removing the tree. Should I decide to have service done, I will DEFINITELY call Tim and have him do it.

We asked Snell Tree Experts to give us an estimate on trimming a large tree next to our house, to remove branches that were too close to the roof and power line. Mr. Snell returned the call, asked for details on what we wanted, scheduled a time to do a free estimate within a few days, came on the appointed day, and left a detailed written estimate for us. We called him back to ask a few questions, which he answered fully. We then scheduled a date that was convenient for us to be home when he was doing the work. He called the night before to confirm, and showed up right on time on the appointed date. He was careful to protect the lawn, brick walkway, and plants when he maneuvered his bucket truck through a narrow opening to get close to the house. He removed just the branches we asked him to, conferring with us when a decision was needed, and providing expert advice in a couple of instances where we weren't sure how much should be cut. The job left the tree looking natural and attractive, but with the problematic branches gone and minimal ugly stubs left behind. He was meticulous in cleaning up the trimmings, which he put through a chipper and hauled away. Overall, a fine job that went just as it was supposed to. I would definitely use this service again and recommend him to friends. I don't have anything to compare the price to, but it seemed fair to us for what he did.

I called for an estimate and Tim was here 2 days later. He was very professional and explained that it would take about 3 weeks before he could get here. Frankly after past experience I figured I would be waiting longer than that. SURPRISE! Tim called 3 weeks later and told me about his schedule and said he would be here the following week and, by golly, he was. Tim and his crew did not disappoint. Other than the large area covered with wood chips we couldn't even tell they had been here. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Tim was on time and did exactly what his estimate stated. He checked with me by phone often to set up the work.
