Absolutely the best electrical company in the area. We have used this company for the last five years in our home. Their work is always top notch. Today Eli and Steve installed two lights on either side of our garage. Expertly done, timely and clean up was perfect. We do not use any other electrician in our home.

I called the electrician and he said he was in the area, so he arrived in about 15 minutes! He got the job done rather quickly.

They did a great job including cleaning up after themselves.

Went well.

Called and in 20 minutes the guy was here. He spent about 45 minutes under the house until he located the problem which was our outside walkway lamp. Very pleasant to work with and will use him for any electric projects l have.

I couldnt say enough about Jay and his team at Briggs Electric. They have experience in all areas. Professional and easy to contact if needed. They ran the electric in the master bath floor and patched the floor afterwards. It is rare to have a contractor these days do work and leave the job without me finding issues. I could not find anything wrong with Briggs Electric. They even troubleshot an electrical issue I had in the house without charging me.

Excellent.  Jay Briggs returned my call promptly and we selected a date.  His team showed up exactly on time.  They were very courteous, removed their boots and used clean soft-soled shoes while inside.  They used drop cloths so there were no scratches on our newly re-finished hardwood floors.  We are preparing our house for sale so I had a laundry list of items the home inspector had identified.  Mark and Will worked through all the items on my list and then carefully worked through the sheet from the home inspector to ensure everything was up to code.  They were knowledgeable and professional.  Very happy with their work.

We had a relatively urgent request. We lost power to the second floor while we were painting. The problem was not a blown fuse in the breaker box as we thought. Turns out it was a bad wire in the electrical socket that we wouldn't have known was the problem without an electrician. Jay replaced it and we were back in business. I especially like the fact that he responded to our service request so quickly. He was courteous, professional and fair with his price since his service call price is $100. Will definitely be using Briggs Electrical again if needed.

I wanted to put a ceiling fan in room that did not have light or fan in ceiling. I did not realize how much work it would be to put in a new fixture. It would cost $275 which is probably a great price, but we did not have that much to spend on this project.

He's phenomenal. I called another company and I gave both companies the description of the job over the phone. With the other company, you're speaking to someone that's in a call center, so really, they're not equipped to kind of give you pricing so that you know ahead of time and I didn't like the fact that the only option I had was to have someone come out and then you pay like a ship charge of $75. With Mr. Briggs, I clearly stated what the issue was, the same as I did with the other company and he was able to give me a quote over the phone. What stood out is his professionalism. He quoted me a price and he stuck to his word on that price.

Briggs went out of the way for us, knowing that we had just bought the house and that we needed the home put in safe order before we moved in.

Back in mid-July, we were having a problem with a breaker continuously shutting off.  I contacted Briggs because they were local to me and got great reviews.  They came within a day, and the two guys worked hard to find the problem.  They installed a new breaker, and the problem seemed to be solved.  They were extremely courteous, neat, and cared very much about accurately diagnosing the problem.
A few days ago, we noticed a problem with the same circuit they had worked on.  I called late in the afternoon, and they were at my door in a half hour.  After additional searching (which took at least an hour), they found what was likely the original problem, and didn't charge me a penny for all the extra time they spent on the repair. 
I really appreciate a company that tries hard to please and stands by their work.  Briggs definitely does, and I'll be using them for any future electrical work.

Very impressed-- we've found our new regular electrician! Jay had two employees come out within an hour of my call. They trouble-shooted until they found the problem (unlike another company that was out just a few hours before and said it would be "a lot of work and money" to figure out the problem. Jay came back later in the day to finish the repair, as he had to locate the light we needed. Wish I had called Briggs first!

Jay arrived promptly as scheduled, worked quickly, cleanly, and efficiently, and performed the requested work in a very professional manner.  In addition, he was able to replace the ballast in the flourecent fixture (even though I was anticipating a need to replace the fixture) saving a few dollars.  Jay also took extra time to consult with us on some future work and carefully explained our options.  We are looking forward to having Jay perform additional work for us in the future.

Ron showed up on time and very efficiently diagnosed and repaired/replaced our electrical outlet within fifteen minutes. We now have electricity in our garage.

Good. Simple job. Took him 15 minutes to get here and another 15 minutes to hang the light.

Very well.  Got it all done beautifully.  Made good suggestions about alternative light bulbs which worked out great.  Have used them before on more complex issues and will use them again.
They are a small company that is flexible and professional.
