We recently had the ACS team completely up fit our home HVAC system, which included the entire duct network. We were 100% satisfied with the whole process!
In addition to ACS, we had three other companies out to do evaluations and estimates at the start of this project. ACS immediately stood out. Jason thoroughly measured and calculated the entire area to be conditioned and used that data to design the new system and ducting. The other companies that came out "eyeballed" it.
Once the planwas in place the install team went to work. Being such a large project, it took days to complete. Throughout the entire process, though, we were kept up to date on the progress and the projected completion times. We are completely satisfied with the workmanship of the install team!
Overall, we were very pleased with our experience with ACS. I would confidently recommend them for your HVAC needs.

Best service in Southern Wake. Our furnace failed to start on the Saturday before the Super Bowl! We called Jim at American Comfort, hoping they could find time to come out. Turns out their promise regarding quick service for regular customers is absolutely sincere. Jim was at our house within the hour. Immediately started to troubleshoot the unit, and had us up and running 45 minutes later. And no premium charges for weekend service! These guys are the best! Highly recommend getting set up with them for regular maintenance. You'll not regret it because you will need repairs at some point and response time is most important when it's 98 degrees or 20 degrees.

I pay a flat fee for the service and they come out on service calls and we get discount on those too. The gentleman, Jim, comes out comes out for me every time and he is very nice.

American Comfort Solutions arrived on time. Catlin (the technician) was 100% professional and informative. He went through both systems, did a full diagnosis and ensured everything was running perfectly. With the cold weather on its way this is the kind of peace of mind i like.

Jason provided us with three options to choose from. We discussed each of them in depth. Once we decided on a path forward a date was set to complete all of the work.
On the day work was to begin the crew showed up right on time, introduced themselves, and explained what they would accomplish on day one. The were prompt, kind, professional, and courteous. Day two and three went much the same way. The job was completed on time with no and quot;surprisesand quot;.
Jason and his crew were professional and honest. They did just what was discussed. They were on-time and thorough. They cleaned up after themselves and disposed of all the old materials. I will definitely use them in the future. It is great to be able to work with a professional company.

Met with Jason on a Saturday (very impressed with that) and went over what we wanted. He made a diagram of the house and where the vents are located. On Monday he offered his recommendations and offered his proposals, all of which were very reasonable. We made our decision and scheduled a date for install.
Jason and his crew were there right on time and ready to work. They worked hard all day and stayed late to complete the work. We had cold air by 5:00 that afternoon.
We found a couple of vents that were not putting out air to our liking (nothing they did, we did not replace the venting) and Jason had someone out the next day to take care of it.
Jason responded very quickly to all emails and concerns. He is very customer friendly and a true professional. They even loaned us a portable air unit the work was complete.
I highly recommend American Comfort Solutions to anyone and will use them for all of our HVAC needs in the future.

Everything else went well. He took the time to check everything including air ducts, thermostat. He answered my questions. I appreciated his time. I also appreciate the office's rep, Ellen, for being so personable.

Install team was able to over come all problem found when installing in an old house.

AC was non-functional. The fellow was under the house for about an hour, so I went outside to inqure. I found him on the phone talking to office looking for additional ideas . (ruh-roh said my mind). He went back down, found that it was a pin in the wiring harness that had become displaced. He could certainly have sold me a new harness but didn't even try - said if it happened again we'd have to look into replacing/ bypassing. Really?? Didn't try to up-sell?? My heroes!

The original installation of the condensation drain on my AC unit back in 1998 was questionable. I wasn't sure if it was working as it should be. I called American Comfort Solutions and asked Jason (the owner) to install a condensation pump. Within 24 hours Jason had his team out here and they had the unit installed and functioning perfectly. Now i can rest easy knowing my AC unit is draining properly. Great service.

My upstairs HVAC was 14 years old and dying. I've used American Comfort Solutions in the past so i called them to replace my unit.
Jason, the owner of American Comfort Solutions, came to my home and we discussed replacing my unit. Jason was at my house for a few hours and covered every aspect of the installation so i would know what to expect. He was fantastic. He listened to my ideas and requests and incorporated everything into his final plan. I wanted a second intake vent installed - no problem, Jason took care of it. I wanted a built in filter of some kind (instead of changing filters in the wall every 30 days) - no problem, Jason took care of it. I have my kitty litter boxes on the second level. Jason took the initiative and suggested maybe i should install a UV deodorizing device. It was a great idea because no matter how often i cleaned out those litter boxes, the upstairs always had a mild cat odor (Not to skip ahead, but the UV device has cured my cat smell!).
The day of installation the crew was right on time. They laid cardboard down on my oak floors for protection. Two portable air conditioner units were brought in to keep the second level comfortable during the installation. The old unit was removed, the new unit put in place. The crew worked for two and half days in the unfinished portion of my attic, an extremely hostile environment with the sun outside and temperatures consistently in the mid to upper 90s. They didn't rush anything. They took their time and did an absolutely meticulous job installing this unit. Jason and his crew handcrafted all the new vent pieces to accommodate my request for a second intake vent.
When American Comfort Solutions finished the job they cleaned everything up and left the place better than when they started. I didn't have to do anything but enjoy my new system. I couldn't be happier.

The added freon lasted just about two weeks and the service man quoted me $842 to remove the elbow in the line which was where he said the leak was and install a straight length of tubing which would prevent further leakage. I declined this offer and called another company which came out and checked for freon leaks and found that the leakage was coming from the service valve. At this time he removed the threaded cover from the valve, coated the threads with pipe dope, replaced the threaded cover and the leak disappeared, about five cents worth of pipe dope compared to $842 worth of lies.

Jim quickly and methodically narrowed down the trouble to a failing expansion valve in the air handler unit. He was very professional and personable, not bothered by my watching and asking questions. Now I just have to decide whether to spend $900 to repair a 13 year old system or to replace it. I have no experience with their installations; but the service side, Jim at least, seems very capable.

Their pricing is very reasonable. On the heat pump installation and ductwork, they were the lowest estimate in comparison to two other companies. The heat pump is under warranty for ten years. Their business also sells appliances. I have purchased a few appliances from them throughout my years. I have been using their services for 18 years. They were able to install the vehicle within a matter of days. I do not wish to disclose the cost.
