About us
Noah's Ark is owned by Dr. Jeff Todd and his wife Dawn Todd. Located in western North Carolina, Noah's Ark is the only hospital west of Waynesville to be accredited for excellence by the American Animal Hospital Association - a distinction only 15% of veterinary hospitals achieve. Dr. Todd's practice combines the best of traditional veterinary medicine and surgery with alternative therapies that include acupuncture, Chinese and herbal medicine, and nutrition counseling. Dr. Todd was nominated "Vet of the Year" in 2007. His clients come to see him from a wide geographic area for down to earth advice on more natural pet care. His style of communication makes it very easy for pet guardians to understand exactly what is going on with their pets, and what options are available. Noah's Ark is a modern facility with fully electronic medical records, a sterile surgical suite, a state of the art in-house laboratory, and digital radiography.

Noah's Ark is a full service veterinary hospital. We provide preventative care examinations, acupuncture, nutrition and behavior counseling. We also provide boarding service for our veterinary clients., office visits for sick pets, surgery - including orthopedic procedures, titer testing, trauma and emergency care, ultrasonic dental cleaning, vaccination

I consider the fees only slightly above average, but well worth it for the quality of care our 'boys' get.
We also board them at Noah's Ark. The kennels are very clean and they have plenty of space. Our vacations are worry free..
We also like that Dr. Todd and his staff encourage the most natural approach to diet and care of animals. Dr. Todd uses traditional approaches to issues but also offers and encourages alternative strategies when appropriate.
Dawn and Dr. Todd are also very sensitive to the community in which we live--a community that frequently cannot afford proper care or, in a number of cases, do not have good attitudes toward the care of animals in general. Noah's Ark, primarily through Dawn's efforts, reach out to help the community in many ways. Her efforts and that of the entire staff are to be commended.
Dr. Todd is definitely our vet, and we encourage others to go to him as well.
