There were times before when going into the shop and asking for a less than 5 minute check of the fluids and tire pressure that there was no problem getting this done. The last time, though, I was told I would have to wait 20 minutes. I waited a few minutes, then told the woman at the desk that I would be back in about 15 minutes and I drove only just a little way away to a pharmacy to get something. I was back in LESS than 15 minutes and she RUDELY told me that I would now have to wait an hour to have the simple 5 minute service done or make an appointment to have it done. I was leaving in an hour to drive quite a distance and wanted to be sure that my car was ok to drive. I do this often before driving extreme distances. I went to another similar business and asked them to perform the same service, I was treated with curtesy and my car was immediately taken into a bay and checked, as I had requested and they didn't charge me anything. I WILL NOT use the Franklin, NC Meineke again.

Prompt and courteous service. They stay on their appointment schedule well.

This is not my first visit to my local Meineke and it will not be my last! Each time I walk into the office I always am greeted by a hand shake and a big warm "Welcome to Meineke of Franklin". There shop is locally owned and operated which makes me feel better knowing that I am supporting my local economy .Ernie and Beckie Pait own the shop and are always glad to speak with you to make sure you are getting the work you need and make sure it is done right. Manager Mike Arnold and the guys in the shop are always checking your vehicle to fine those little things that may creep up on you causing problems down the road and fixing them before they start. No matter if you call and schedule an appointment or just walk in there always ready to help. They offer factory scheduled maintenance and repair on most vehicles. And you can't go wrong with there $19.95 oil change, 5 qts of oil and a standard filter. There is the reason for my recent visit to Meineke of Franklin. After I made myself comfortable in there waiting area and was offered a cup of coffee when one of the shop guys came out to to speak with me. He had found a nail in my tire while doing there general over all inspection while waiting on my oil to drain. I never knew it was there. That was really great to know for I had a doctors appointment the following Monday over two hours away and a flat tire is the last thing I need that far away from home. I can't say enough good things about the Meineke here in Franklin. I highly recommend them to anyone to make sure your vehicle is running at its best. With money tight this day in time it pays to keep your car up and running longer.
