George Pitts Electric

Pitts crew came sporadically, apparently when it was convenient for them, sometimes delaying other aspects of the project.  The work appeared to have been performed well and the workers seemed professional and competent.  After many delays he showed up and seemed to have finally completed the job.  But after receiving  payment, Pitts disappeared leaving several aspects unfinished and some problems that required attention.  After 5 weeks of my repeated calling he finally answered and said he would be here later that same week.  But he never showed up and since then he continues to not answer or return phone calls or email.  I finally had to hire another electrician to come complete the job that Pitts was already paid to do.

Called Friday morning and he said he would try to come out around 2-3, but advised me that some jobs require unexpected work. I made a follow up call Saturday, leaving a phone msg. He called me back within 30 min. He is one of the only electricians that works on SATURDAY! He arrived within the hour, troubleshooted my problems: I had crackling in one of my breakers and the connection for my swimming pool pump was not working. George found the problems quickly and completed the work providing me with a full description of parts used and why. The cost of the job was very reasonable. I have plans for future electrical work and will definitely call him back.

I Called George Pitts to see if he could fix my standby generator. He was working on another job, but came by that evening (on his way home) to look at it.
He determined that the and quot;trickle chargerand quot; was not working and said he would find me one the next day. After finding the part, he came to my house and installed it.
He was friendly,punctual and reliable . His charge for the repair was very reasonable.
I would hire him again.

George replaced the outlets for my Dryer and Stove which were 20 years old. He also replaced an old outlet in the living room. I am very pleased with his service and will call him again if I need any electrical work done in the future. He explained in detail what caused my problem and was very knowledgeable on how to fix it. George and his helper were very nice, cleaned up the area, and very efficient at what they were doing. His price was actually lower than I thought it was going to be. I felt very comfortable in giving him a tip above his cost.

George was awesome. Very nice to deal with and work was done on time, looked great and there were no hidden fees. I would use them again for any of my electrical work needs.

Price for a job is relative.....you get what you pay for. This was a new business and they needed the work. I gave him money in advance of the work when he was in a personal crunch. Sometimes you get exactly what you pay for-and it isn't a bargain. On his behalf, he did come back to fix a couple of things that he had not done correctly (smoke alarms etc). After repeated delays and unanswered phone calls, the work was finished. He works with less than a skeleton crew, often overschedules his work and over estimates his ability with non-standard applications. After waiting an extra month to get our C. O. Mr. Pitts finally showed up at night to finish the few remaining items. He then presented us with a bill (in excess of 1000) because of his "extra" work. This was never mentioned until he whipped out the prepared bill. I absolutely cannot recommend his work.
