He came by the same day even though I called after I got home from work.  Fixed it the next day.  Price was amazing- 10% of what All About Plumbing quoted.  He's also done some work for my grandmother that she was very happy about.  Most repairmen try to gouge the elderly but Duckett was very fair.  All About Plumbing charged her $400 to replace the guts in a toilet! I heartily recommend Duckett Plumbing for excellent price, responsiveness, and quality.

Duane is responsive, reliable, punctual and friendly. He is scrupulously honest and a pleasure to deal with. Work is completed with pride of workmanship.

He took the toilet off, put in a new wax seal and plastic piece, and put everything back. He's my go to guy for anything around the house, and I'm really glad I can rely on him.

He is really good, very sweet, punctual, and his price is very good. He was on time and he knows what he was doing. He does not over charge. The pump mess up on Sunday evening and he came out the first thing Monday morning and he even checked the pump and went out and bought it and did not charge me, just a little bit for labor.

Duane came to the house immediately on a Saturday morning and fixed the two leaks. He had the parts he needed on the truck. He installed a valve on the hose pipe so that it can be shut off in cold weather and also wrapped it with insulation. We were very happy with the results.

Duane and his partner were friendly, efficient, and neat. They completed the work in a timely fashion and left things neat and clean. Duane was also very good about communicating while we established what needed to be done and when he could do the work.

Having used the services of this provider before, we again called when a leak appeared in the basement water line.
Mr. Duckett came the same day that we called . He requested that a picture of the leaking area be sent to him from our cell phone so he could assess the situation in order to have the right equipment with him when he arrived.
He arrived in the early afternoon and promptly repaired the problem in a professional manner.
Mr. Duckett is a knowledgeable plumber with a significant work history. He is friendly and explains what he is going to do and discusses any and all changes he anticipates, if any, before completing the work. In the past, he has also discussed pricing if there have been more problems than we expected.
We have found that his pricing is most reasonable. We have an older home and have used other plumbing services in the past so we have some idea of what others can and do charge.
As an added "plus" our five dogs enjoy sitting with him if the job is inside. They are generally well mannered (other than occasional kisses) and he is most accommodating and "dog friendly".

We have been pleased with him. He comes about every four months. His prices are better than anybody else, but it depends on what he does. Overall, our experience with him went very well. He is good.

Our kitchen sink faucet has been leaking around the base for several months when the water was turned on. It must be said up front that the kitchen sink area of plumbing has received no "attention" for many years.
Based on Angie's List reviews we chose Duckett Plumbing. Mr. Duckett arrived on time in the early afternoon and began work. He found that parts were required that he did not have on his truck and went into town to get the parts. After repairing the leak he found that the cut off switches were leaking and spent a lot of time trying to repair. He finally decided that he would just replace one of the switches. He had to saw off the old fixture and solder a new one into place. Then it was discovered that the drain on the opposite side of the sink was leaking and he repaired that as well stating that he could not leave us with a leak. He spent several hours under our sink and remained pleasant and in a good mood the entire time. (Our Walker C*** Hound liked him very much and laid by his side most of the time he was working....a great indicator of trustworthiness in my opinion!!!)
Mr Duckett left our home at almost 5:00 with all of the sink problems repaired and cleaned up. The charge was $125. I consider this an exceptional value given the time spent and quality of work.

On a Saturday morning, we noticed a leak under our kitchen sink. We called Duckett Plumbing, and even though he was on a road ttrip for a family gathering out of town, he troubleshooted the issue over the phone. We traced it to the garbage disposal. 
He called the plumbing supply store, which was going to close at noon, and reserved us a disposal replacement unit at his cost. We got to the store just before it closed and purchased the unit. He came to our home the next day and replaced the unit. He was of great, neighborly-like help and provided great service.

While having some other work done at my house, one of the contractors discovered that the commode in the half-bath was leaking into the crawlspace.  I called Duane and he said he could be there shortly!!  I expected to schedule the work a week or two out, but Duane came right on out that day.  He did a professional job taking care of the leak.  There were some complications and it took over two hours.  Duane did a great job at a very reasonable price.







After moving to this area seven years ago, I've been amazed at the way many service people gouge the retiree population here.  Duane is a breath of fresh air.  His prices are fair and not unreasonable like many others are.

Mr. Duckett is incredibly helpful, and his prices are very reasonable! When he came out to fix the leaky toilet, he ended up taking the whole toilet apparatus off, fixing some things and re-installing it.  The total cost was $75, which is his minimum amount for service.
We noticed a dripping faucet on our bathtub and hired him again. He immediately identified the replacement part that was necessary and told us up front about how much it would cost, then ran to the hardware store and came back very quickly to install it. While we were in the basement we noticed another water problem, and he was able to quickly diagnose that the caulking around our master bathtub was leaking and would need to be repaired. 
Mr. Duckett is always happy to answer unrelated questions. He's friendly, on time and very professional. Highly recommended!

Duane came and gave us a free quote for the job and then performed the work for the same price.  He was always friendly and looked for ways to save us money on the job.  Additionally, he was punctual, considerate and he did exactly what we wanted.  Duckett Plumbing is a small operation with very little overhead and as such he can keep his prices low.  We received competitive quotes from other plumbers for the same project that were 2 and 3 times as high for the same work.  All in all we were very satisfied with the project.

There were no surprises in cost or the service provided.

Mr. Duckett showed up on time and ready to solve my problems. It was evident immediately that he would not leave until all was working properly, even if it involved the work of a do-it-yourself amateur. All the work was checked. It was evident the scope of the work was more than originally anticipated. He was professional and thorough, completing all work as it should have been done!

It was evident that Mr.Duckett takes pride in the work and the service he provides. It is easy to recommend him for plumbing challenges. His charges were very reasonable. The service he provides to his customers is superior.

Duane takes a great deal of pride in his work and will do whatever it takes to ensure that everything turns out perfectly. He is very skilled and experienced and is someone you can trust to be honest and fair. I would highly recommend Duane and will call him in the future for any plumbing work I need done.
