David, owner, demonstrated truly high skill with his picking tools. I never saw anything like it. He had the lock open in a minute! He then cut me a couple of keys, that was in itself, a wonder. Because my file cabinet happens to use a specialized, that is really very hard to find. And the cost? Very reasonable. American Eagle Locksmith sets the standard. Furthermore, Dave is a very pleasant man. Very highly recommended.

The technician arrived on time and did a fine job installing the locks, but I rated the job a “B” because of the mess left behind. The drawers had to be drilled for the locks and he left the sawdust and wood chips inside the drawers and all over the floor. I thought the technician was in a hurry to get to the next job... or maybe he wanted to leave before I saw where he had nicked the drawers with his tools. The locks are great but I am not accustomed to someone running out without offering to clean up their mess.

Obtaining two new remote key fobs for my 2010 Malibu from American Eagle Locksmith was easy and such a pleasant experience. The cost was $64.05 per fob, including programming and taxes (but I feel certain this cost varies according to auto). The cost was less than half the estimate from three other sources; the locksmith had the fob in stock so there was no wait time -- I called ahead though in case the fob needed to be ordered. The folks at this company appreciate their customers, and I appreciate knowing about this company.

American Locksmith showed up within 30 minutes of my call. Price was very reasonable for a weekend. I also got 2 keys made for the bedroom door. I will definitely call them again. David was very professional and got the job done within 30 minutes of arrival time.

Good! Frank was there for a few hours. A piece was broken inside the lock so it could be completely repaired, but Frank came up with a solution of securing the handle in place so we could still lock the screen door. 

Disappointed in the mess the employee left in the house. Left nails and weather stripping on the ground and knew small children and dogs were in the home. There is too much competition out there for a messy service.

They fit us in the schedule, Alan arrived on time and completed the work in a timely manner.

Daniel was the tech that came to my home.  He was very professional and friendly.  He arrived on time and went right to work.  One of my exterior doors wouldn't unlock or open at all and they were the original locks installed 25 yrs ago, and seemed to never have had any maintenance.  Daniel had to remove the cylinders on both doors and repair and re-install.  He had to shave down the plate area on one door and made sure that he cleaned, vacuumed and removed any debris.  He re-keyed the doors as well.  He also gave me maintenance instructions on what needs to be done in the future to prevent any problems.  I was very happy with the quality of work from American Eagle Locksmith and Daniel.   I would use them again and recommend them to friends without hesitation.

We have one of these complicated 3-point locks on our Anderson front door.  Much to my surprise, the handle on the front side came off.  I found this provider on Angie's list, and read the reviews.  I called the office and explained the problem.  I was told that there is a $50 trip charge in addition to parts and labor, but if they couldn't fix it, there would be no charge.  Two hours later, a pleasant young man named David showed up.  He disassembled the lock, put it back together with a new set screw, and was done in 15 minutes.  The service was prompt and professional and the price was fair.  Amereican Eagle is now my locksmith!

I needed new locks and keys installed for my home and was under a time crunch. The tech came out on a Friday and explained that I'd do better if I had Lowe's cut the keys for me and he'd install all the locks. So he saved me money with that advice. Lowes didn't charge any extra for the keying. He came back out on Saturday morning to get all the installs done. But here's the thing I really liked. He (and I forget his name) made sure that when he installed the new locks that the doors fit better than they have in years. He really took the time to do the job right and make sure all the locks worked properly. He spent a while here and I felt the price was fair. I'm very picky about paying for services. I expect and demand good service and I wasn't disappointed with any aspect. I needed the job done quickly since I was heading out of town and he made sure he was here and got it all taken care of. If there was a negative it was that he didn't sweep up after the wood chipping and drilling, but that was not an issue since I was in a rush. Good guy and superior work. Highly recommended.

I just moved into a home that had only one key to one lock, no other locks had keys and needed to get keys quickley for security.
Mr. Alan Hale listended to my concerns over the phone, quoted me a price and said he could come out that same day.
He re-keyed all six house/garage locks, oiled them, repaired one that was  previosly installed incorrectly.
The job was finished within an hour and I was very happy with the service and quality of workmanship.
I would call this company again for sure.
