Belue's Electric

I was replacing electrical outlets in my basement and came to the bathroom and a GFC outlet, which was outdated.  I was unsuccesful in the rewiring and called Belue's electric on a Saturday.  They were not open, but the owner happened to be there and answered the phone.  We scheduled a repair service for Monday.  The electrician who came out Monday morning was very knowledgeable and had my outlet wired correctly within 15 minutes.  He also looked at a 3 way switched I had wired wrong and fixed that.  He answered all my questions and was very respectful.   I would call them again for any electrical needs I have in the future.  I am so glad they are located near us in Flat Rock.

They contacted me and advised that they were going to need to completely tear down the fan and advised that it might be cheaper to replace.  I gave them permission to go ahead with the repairs to the fan.  They have also repaired an electric space heater for me as well.  They are very affordable and won't charge if they can't fix it, which is very honorable.  They are very honest and do really good work and I would highly recommend them to others.  They specialize in small appliances.  Doug is the father and is turning it over to his son who does equally good work and a pleasure to work with.

Work started professionally by father and son, but soon deteriorated to inefficiency. No contact, no supervision, etc. They sent an outrageous and unexplained invoice!

Your invoice for work that you claimed you did (or your unsupervised , unknowledgeable men tried to do) sends a shock of disgust through my body. When I called to discuss some electrical problems I talked to your dad, whom I had known and trusted from previous work he had done for me. He said he could help me. When he came, you were with him and the two of you worked on a minor problems (replacing faulty dimmer switch in our laundry room and checking on a few things). It was late afternoon, if I recall, when you first arrived, and your dad said, ?We?ll come back to finish up on another day?. You then came back with another guy (Sammy?) and repaired the light switch at the wood shed. You were not here very long and said you would be back another day to replace the electric line to the ?island? (you said you had to rent a ditch digger). You and Sammy returned and did that plus installed our post light. Sammy and another man (the one you brought with you yesterday) came back on another day (no one called to say they were coming, even though I told you that the exact location where I wanted for the second night light, switch post would be offset form the picnic table, not at the end of the table where people would trip over it. So, now I have a hazardous situation that could cause a serious problem with family, neighbors, friends, etc. if someone is injured. We didn?t even know they were out there, as we couldn?t see them from the house without knowing they were there and intentionally looking for them. That is the extent of what you did for us and you?re claiming that we should pay $1875.00 plus 601.80 which you claim is for materials? This plus the tax on these materials is $2,517.42 according to your invoice.You?ve got to be kidding? I do no believe what you?re attempting to do! Swindle me? No way. I?m enclosing a check for 500.00. You can decide what you want to do from here.
