We could not be more pleased with our new Trex deck, Cameron's skills and and the quality of the deck is bar none; it is the sturdiest deck I have ever seen! Cameron was not only polite, but accommodating and humorous, he was a sheer delight to work with! He showed up and did absolutely everything he said he would as well as cleaning up once the project was finished. I found Associated Builders on Angie's List and they were the only one with all A ratings and now I see why; I cannot recommend them highly enough and I hope to work with them in the future. It went Great! Wish we would have hired him to build our house. Will hire Cameron for anything else we need done. Did a fantastic job.

It went fabulously. When we initially met with Cameron about the project he provided additional insight to our vision to help create the perfect outcome. He was excellent about texting me with upcoming steps, letting us know when he and/or workers would be on-site, what would be done. If there was a problem he was quick to respond. The quality of the work was excellent, usually over done rather than showing any signs of skimping, such as with the spacing of supports by putting them closer together rather than spacing them further apart, etc. Each day the crew cleaned up the work area and yard thoroughly. On the rare occasions when the heavens opened up and they couldn't clean up as thoroughly as they usually did they were very apologetic. If it happened on a Friday they'd stop by Saturday to finish the clean up. We needed a step from the house to the deck. After using it the day and evening it was installed we felt like it needed to be a wider step (3 boards wide rather than 2). He was very gracious and professional about making the adjustment to meet our need even though the original step had been beautifully finished. He did have an emergency one day that kept him from coming as expected but let us know early that morning so, as far as I was concerned, there wasn't an issue. Life happens and we can't always do exactly what we had planned when it was planned. As long as it's not a frequent occurrence and I'm kept up to date I can be very understanding. The actual decking materials were delivered to him a day and a half later than anticipated by him. Again, he kept us informed. When the materials did come in he came over immediately and began the installation. He also came back on both Saturday and Sunday to finish the installation so the deck was finished essentially on time despite the delay. It was a pleasure working with Cameron and every member of his crew. We are very pleased with our new deck and the protection the covered portion provides. Based on our observations throughout the process of building it I am confident we'll enjoy many years of problem free use.

We had such a wonderful experience with Cameron and Associated Builders. Everything that was promised was given plus more. I have done many demolitions before, but never from a distance. This is a bit of a challenge for all, but Cameron was so great and made everything perfect. I highly recommend Associated Builders.

Excellent workmanship on all aspects.

Associated Builders far exceeded our expectations.  From the timeline, communication, cost, and quality of every single bit of work that was done....everything was top notch! Work was done in a timely manner and was communicated as to the progress of the project.  Any questions were quickly resolved and we felt at ease knowing they felt as if they were updating their own personal home!  Our neighbors were so impressed with the work, they are using Associated Builders on their renovation!

As an HVAC contractor, we have had the pleasure of working with Cameron Kilpatrick on a job in downtown Asheville, NC.  Because of the professional job he did on the restaurant he was hired to remodel, we decided to use him at our personal house.  We couldn't be happier with the speed and quality of work.  Excellent contractor.

On scale 1 to 10, it was ten. I would definitely use this company again. They were very fair in price, very dependable, and honest, The job was excellent. He runs good team. Very pleased with the work.
