TruGreen Lawn Care - 5113

This is TOTALLY one of the worst Companies and I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!! Never made initial talk with me before treating so I could give special instructions for the summer when I would be gone. I was promised they would use Roundup (the only thing that would kill those purple plants) on phone then they show up and do not use it. They did not spray the whole yard only sprayed certain areas (I have video proof). NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! I will let you know if they give full refund since services were so terrible (I paid for the whole summer)!!! Now they sent me email saying they do not use Roundup!!!! OMG THEY ARE LIARS!!!

TruGreen is horrible. The first treatment started off bad; the workman sprayed the front yard & left. I called the office to complain and was told that the men are trained to start in the back first and work up to the front yard. They were sure that both yards were done. I have good eyes and could not believe that the office would take up for this bad service sight unseen! Anyway they sent another man out twice. My crabgrass grew taller both times. I cancelled and will not suggest anyone to use TruGreen.

Everything went as routine.

i called and talked to the employee who treated my yard, he did not even know I had fescue, said "you have centipede don't you".  Upon hearing this I asked to talk to his manager, the manager made the excuse that the employee was only with the company for 4 months.  He also commented on how sensitive fescue is in the south, to which I told him I fully understand the challenges and have been making sure it was getting properly watered, 1 inch per week early in the season, and 3-4 as the heat increased it.  I have researched and know how to nurture my yard.  Again I mentioned that the lime was applied way too late, especially for in the south, and then to fertilize at 95+ In July...IN THE SOUTH!  Basically he had a lacksidasical attitude which hardly appeased me, or would it anyone when your yard is basically ruined, especially after replacing it one year ago .  That's basically $ 6,000  wasted.

He told me he would get me in touch with his general manager, then shortly came back on the phone.  I asked how I was supposed to pleased with their explanation when they had just ruined my yard.  He assured me that they would reseed the yard, big deal when I am now starting all over again with my yard.  It really is to the point that it needs re-sodded 

 

I used them for a full year and did not see any significant change to my yard.

I signed an agreement with Trugreen with so
they could treat my lawn during the day while I was at work.  I cancelled service with this company after I
found out they were only treating the back yard while I was not home.  I observed the lawn care tech finish the
whole treatment in less than 10 mins (to include the time it took to pull out
his equipment) during my day off.  When I
asked why he was not spraying the front areas he told me that it was not in my
agreement.  However after each treatment
the technician would put ?just treated? Trugreen flags in the front lawns. 
It took over 6 months to catch them in the
act of ?ghosting? my lawn, during this time I even called the management to ask
why my front area was deteriorating. A ?manager? then came out to look at the
lawn and suggested I need to water in more to work with the treatments.  Seeing that I was getting ripped off I
proceed to cancel all services with Trugreen. 
Even after cancelling the service, they
still sent someone over to treat the lawn and charge me afterwards.  I gave them the benefit of a doubt and paid
the fee thinking that the technician didn?t get the word but not before I
banned them from my property.   
I could go on
and on, but long story short, the damage they did to my lawn plus the aggravation
from their sales tactics makes this one company to avoid.  On a final note if you cancel with them make
sure they give you:
1.    
Take note of the time, date, and
name of the customer service rep.
2.    
Get a cancellation number on
each service you have (lawn and shrubs)
3.    
Have the customer service Rep.
repeat the numbers back to you

They killed my lawn. Stay away. They spay the same stuff on all yards. They do not spay your backyard unless you are home watching. Total waste of money. The 1st year was so-so. This year two thirds of my front yard is dead. Centipede sod. The rest of my neighborhood  is green. Mine is brown. Their answer is to send someone out to look so they can spray the same chemicals that killed my yard.

They come on a regular basis.

They come and do the work when I am at work. I haven’t seen anyone negotiate because my yard really messed up, so I don’t want to fix it quickly, but so far they are good, and I haven’t had a lot of results yet, so may be with all the rain and stuff I’ll start getting results and we will actually see the green grass. I would use them again in the future.
