Tanya and her Husband came the same day I called and estimated the job.  Some details and tasks were not known until floor was removed.  They were able to do both the tile work and the handy man extras needed to completely finish the job.  They even worked out a deal to replace the carpet that was damaged in the adjoining room.  Once the full water damage was known, we had to modify the estimate had to change the work order modestly, but I was aware ahead of time that it was a possibility.
Once the job was complete, people raved about the finished project.  The tile was a nice fit.  The new fixtures matched well, and everything worked as promised.  Very pleased with the look and feel of the finished project.  And friends have asked for Tanya's number so they can use her services too.  Project went very well and I had a one on one feel when working with Tanya!

Tanya was great from the beginning, helping us pick out tile and making suggestions throughout the process. Her husband did a great job rerouting the plumbing. Together they make the perfect team. When hiring someone to do work in your home, you want someone who you trust and you want Tanya. We would definitely hire her again for future projects. She was a joy to work with and did an outstanding job with the tile work. We love the bathroom.

It is gorgeous and I wish I had done it sooner. A professional job done by a experienced lady. She aims to please and she does. She listens to what you want and makes it happen. She is currently remodeling my master bath with new tile, fixtures and made my shower more open. It is now a beautiful updated bath with stunning details. It should be finished soon. I would recommend Tanya for any project.

They were initially hired to just do the master bathroom and kitchen, but when I got in over my head with the main bathroom, they were able to step right in and did a fantastic job, well beyond what I would have been able to do. In the time they worked at my house, an old rental property, they became my technical advisors, my sounding boards and very quickly, my friends. My wife, especially, became close to Tanya and is looking forward to having her come to our home to tile our living room floor. If you have any work to be done in your house, call them first. With their knowledge and capabilities, you may not need anyone else.

The work was done methodically and was well scheduled. The contractor gave adequate notice when additional or "next step" materials were needed. They were given complete access to the Post facility and were able to work at their on pace unimpeded. Attention to detail is a hallmark of Tanya the Tiler. This husband and wife team work well together and individually

, each displaying complimentary skills sets. I highly recommend them for this type of renovation work. They do it all: Painting, sheetrock finishing, cabinet installation, carpentry, plumbing, and Tanya's specialty: wall and floor tile work.

This remodeling project uncovered several hidden problems. Larry and Tonya cheerfully met this problems. Any problems that they encountered they carefully considered the solution.  For example, the floor of the quest bathroom was completely rotted out. My husband and I were unaware of  this. Larry cheerfully proceeded to rip the old flooring out. My husband and I both feel that Larry and Tonya were completely reasonable in the amount they charged us to repair our bathroom floor. In addition we were happy that they suggested that they suggested the Schluter Systems Kerdi Waterproofing for both our showers so that we will not encounter any nasty surprises in the future.

Our home was built in the late sixties. Although it was listed as a 4 bedroom house, it actually had 5 BUT the kitchen was tiny! I often joked you had to go outside to change your mind!
Tanya and Larry totally re-modeled our Kitchen. This involved taking out a 10 foot load bearing wall and installing a new header with jack studs in order to enlarge (double the size) of the existing kitchen. They framed in the new enclosure, sheet rocked and finished the new walls, repainted the old walls, completely over hauled the electical system, added a new circuit, and all fixtures. The non-load bearing wall to the dining room was taken out to counter top level and finished off with pieces of the matching oak flooring. Once this area was enclosed, they shifted an exterior door opening to accomodate a new door, re-installed a storm door, and replaced all affected vinal siding and trim. Next came the flooring. After some significant leveling, because the new area was much lower ( 2+ inches) than the existing, They installed some beautiful solid oak hardwood. Larry even custom made the needed door and floor transition pieces out of matching flooring.  Then came the new cabinets, wall and base. These smooth front maple cabinets (in a cranberry stain) went well with the flooring. They also took two wall cabinets, added matching legs and mounted them on the half wall between the kitchen and dining room. The added legs put the weight of the cabinets on the floor rather than the half wall. This was also necessary because the only HVAC vent in the kitchen is beneth these cabinets. These two cabinets were topped with a matching piece of countertop, cut down to about 15 inches.....so MORE counter space!
All appliances were re-installed, the sink was reinstalled and re-plumbed.
This was a once in a lifetime project for us and it will add significantly to the re-sale value of the home.
Tanya and Larry do quality work at a fair price and they are great folks to know! We highly recommend them for your home project.

"Thank you for your review. This job was probably at the top of our scope of capabilities and we appreciate your patience with our availability and work schedule. We also appreciate the way we were able to work out the challenges that occur during a large job such as this. It made for an acceptable outcome that pleased everyone. Thank you again, and enjoy your new kitchen!"

Enjoyed working with them.  The Schluter membrane waterproofing system was new to them.  They read up on it, contacted the manufacturer and installed it to perfection.  I would never do a shower without this system in place and I hope they have the opportunity to do many more.
We worked through several tile designs together 'til we found ones that were interesting, different and cost effective.  I had them working in some pretty adverse conditions (an unheated house in winter!), but they came through on the other side just fine.  Due to the weather, working around other subs and a bit of a learning curve, the job took longer than I (and probably they!) had expected.   That said, they did a fine job and I would recommend them to others.

I think Tanya did well.  It was her first time doing a back splash with slate tile, so there was a little bit of learning involved but I think she did a good job.  It was somewhere between $300 and $400.

Tanya and Larry are a husband and wife team with extraordinary skill in the services that they perform. After seeing work that they did in installing a new hot tub in my cousin's home, I called and received a written estimate to have both of my bathrooms redone.  We quickly agreed on a starting date.  The ceramic tiling work that Tanya did in my 2 bathrooms was absolutely beautiful and beyond what I envisioned.  Tanya is meticulous in her work and a true professional paying careful attention to every detail.  Larry tended to all the plumbing work and installation of a new tub, shower, vanities, lights and fixtures in an excellent manner with careful checks of everything involved. They consulted with me and made suggestions during the process to be sure I was absolutely pleased and made any changes that I asked them to do.  They started each day on time.  They were careful in cleaning during and after their work day and very respectful of my home. I high recommend this business for any home rennovations for which you may have plans.  I'm now thinking about having my kitchen redone--I will definitely contact them again.
