Ray's Heating & A/C

Mr Ray had worked on my HVAC in the past and that was an emergency on a Sunday holiday weekend. Mr Ray was prompt in arriving and equally prompt at diagnosing the problem. He worked quickly, quietly and with extreme professionalism. He informed me that my capicator was out and needed to be replaced he gave me a price and commenced to do the work. When he was finished he left no mess and agreed to come back at a later time to give estimates on new construction that we are doing to the house. He called the next day to confirm that his repair was operating properly which it was all this was as he was just starting his own business. This was in 2013 I think. Fast forward to 2017 and the AC quit again. Ray came promptly and gave me the unfortunate news that I need a coil. He got me a price on replacing my coil and a price on replacing the entire system. After talking it over with my father it was decided that I should replace the system as Ray had called to let me know the coil was actually on backorder. I confirmed the information with a different company not because I didn't trust Mr. Ray rather because I feel it is good business practice to verify cost, supplies and time required to complete a job. before getting into a contract. Mr. Ray came out once more to talk over and idea on how to make the system work better in the whole house not just part of it. He gave me a new proposal and talked it over with my son who was footing a good part of the bill. Mr. Ray and my son negotiated a price that I think was mutually beneficial to each party. Mr. Ray arrived promptly on the day of installation and worked quickly, quietly and professionally. After the job was complete due to my disability I was unable to access the attic to view the work so Mr. Ray took multiple photographs so that I could see the completed job and I was very impressed. Mr. Ray installed a new Goodman system with a 10 year warranty and a programmable WIFI thermostat. I am beyond thrilled with this thermostat as well as the system and the additional return that has helped even the household environment throughout. I do not know the exact cost of the work done but I had 2 other companies from this list to offer a proposal and while Rays was not the cheapest nor was it the most expensive. I do feel though that he offered the best value when evaluating the system(warranty wasn't as long) the other companies were going to install.

Mr.Ray came and replaced my heat exchanger. I was super impressed by not only his work but his well manners and

timely fashion. He was able to work around my busy schedule. He has a lot of experience and was able to answer my every question. I would recommend Mr.Ray for all your heating & air needs. He's kind, well mannered, and very knowledgeable about his work. I've sent him to a couple of my close family members for their heating & air issues. They were also VERY impressed with his work. I highly recommend Rays Heating & Air you won't be disappointed!

I had the pleasure of calling Ray's Heating and A/C after being referred by my neighbors. My appointment was able to be scheduled the same day which was a plus due to it being the day before a major holiday. The technician called before arrival to confirm my appointment. One thing I was very pleased about was the shoe covers before he entered my home it shows how much they actually care. Once the problem was found I was given options in which to choose from never any pressure at all. I am very pleased with the service I received thank you Ray's heating & A/C I will highly recommend you.

I would NOT recommend Laxavier Ray.
He was impossible to get hold of, never returned calls, did not turn up when he said he would and did an appalling job of the work.
He was forced on us by our warranty company (who we have since abandoned). The work he did was substandard.
He replaced the capacitor in May when it had shorted, but did not remove or replace any of the other parts shorted out. As a result the capacitor blew again 4 months later and we had to pay again for him to replace it.
Having had the unit serviced today by a professional (All Season's Heating and Air) we were told that the work done in the unit was a disgrace and needs to be put right immediately to prevent another shorting and fire.
