Mac did a great job!

Although the initial customer service and response time was good, the company certainly was a let down and we are taking our project business elsewhere. We called to get an estimate for a shower replacement and two friendly technicians came out within a few days. After their inspection, they said we would receive an estimate by the next morning and to call if we hadn't heard back. The next afternoon, we had still not heard from them and called to see if there was an issue. The receptionist said she had not yet received information from the technician, but that we would have our quote in three days on the following Monday. Monday came around and still no word. We called back and got the same story, that no information had been submitted to the office by the technician and that we would get our quote within a couple days. On the 13th day after the inspection, we called back for at least the fourth time to see what was going on. They said we should have our quote within a couple hours because the report was finally submitted to the office. We received the quote via email and it wasn't even the correct quote we initially requested. Very disappointing and a total waste of time. To specify, it was a simple quote to replace a stand up shower. The technicians had taken a couple pictures and said that it would be quick and easy for for them to give us a quote. It shouldn't have taken more than the initial day to put something together.

The water drains were backed up throughout the house. I called McKenzie Plumbing in the morning. They said they were booked solid but would fit me in that same day. Late that afternoon their service technician (Sven) came. He located the main clean-out connection just outside the house. After only a few minutes he was able to pressure out the pipe leading to the main sewer line at the road. This unclogged the drain and the sewer was flowing freely. However, three days later the sewer backed up again. This time Sven came out within two hours. He put a pluming snake down the clean-out this time but could not clear the line. He then checked the clean-out connection at the road and found the main PWC sewer line was blocked. Sven called PWC and they came within an hour and worked for 4 hours to clear the clog. Throughout the whole process McKenzie Plumbing and Sven treated me like they put the customer first. I highly recommend their services.

McKenzie Plumbing was great. I called after business hours thinking I would get their answering machine. Instead, I spoke with one of their plumbers. I explained my problem and he said he had that part on his truck and he could come by the same evening. The pluymber showed up around 10:30 pm and fixed my water heater. He did not charge overtime/after-hour rates. I was impressed and appreciative. Highly recommended!

Worker showed up and put shoe covers to walk in house (great) and checked out kitchen sink. He immediately went under house, found problem. Told me that he had to replace some pipes. I laid down while he replaced the pipes, he came back in and tightened up all the pipes under the sink and told me, all done. Super great job and very fast. Thanks

I was very pleased that they came out on a Saturday morning to do the work. The gentleman that did the work was very pleasant and professional. The cost of the heater was about what I expected. What I didn't expect and was very displeased with was the installation fee. The installation fee was just under the price of the heater, costing me $400.00. I considered that way out of line for the amount of time it took the service man to complete the work (just over 1 hour). I suppose that's my bad for not inquiring into that before the service man came out. It will factor into my decision in the future to whether or not I use them again

My call to the office was very pleasant. She discussed the types of HWH's they use, sizes, and approximate costs. She also reminded me to print the Angie's List discount coupon to give to the plumber. Mac and Doc were here when they said they would be, and were VERY courteous. They let me know what they were doing as their work progressed. I had a new HWH installed within a few hours of my initial call to the office. I had a question the next day, called the office, and Mac returned my call to discuss my question and provide an answer. Very pleased with the way it was all handled the day of the installation.

I called the office at 8:30 a.m. and had a call back from the tech (Mac) at 9:30 or so. He was there by 10:00, we discussed the fact that my 14 y/o water heater was bad. He immediately prepped the area for replacement, ordered the water heater and then left at 11 or so to go get it. He was delayed getting back due to an emergency water line break that required him to deviate but was still back by 1:00 even after having repaired that break in the other customer's basement. My water heater was installed by 3:00 p.m.. Mac also had a very polite/professional young veteran as an assistant and both of them went to extremes to avoid getting my floors dirty. I couldn't be more pleased and we now call ourselves as having found 'our plumber.' Mac did nothing that he didn't first explain and fielded every question we had.I suppose I could have found someone to do it a tad cheaper, but I'm a believer in you get what you pay for. I wholeheartedly recommend McKenzie Plumbing.

replaced flexible supply line, thought a bit expensive for the work involved, but appears to be inline with other reviews, problem solved & prompt service.

it was in a difficult place. They fix it better than it was originally. very pleased with there work. it was kinda expensive but it was above my skill level.
