***NOT FRIENDLY TO DISABLED PATIENTS*** I have required the use of a service dog since 2018. I didn't bring him to my surgery appointment because service dogs are not allowed in sterile or surgical settings, however I needed an emergency follow up on 11/02/2020. Despite telling the practice owner that my dog is a service animal trained for specific tasks he refused to treat me unless my dog was in another room (out of my direct control, which is illegal under ADA law). I ultimately had to seek treatment with another dentist's office. Dr. Jones acknowledged that if I was blind and my service animal was a guide dog he would treat me, but refused to treat me. When questioned about this by the NCDOJ, Dr. Jones lied and said that I told him my dog was an emotional support animal. All I asked for was an apology and acknowledgment that he was wrong.

The dentist took a panoramic X-ray and apparently my case was over his head.
I was referred to another dentist who is too busy to see me for over a month during which time my implants are loose.
Very disappointed in both of them.

Excellent Service

I have been seeing Dr. Jones for 11 or 12 years. Over half of my teeth are implants by Dr. Jones. I didn't think this much dental work was affordable but thanks to this Oral Surgeon...I now have a working set of teeth. Dr. Jones is one of the best in his field..for my family and me....he IS the BEST! Not only is he a genius in his field of expertise, he is a wonderful, kind man....who seems to appreciate and care for his patients. Dr. Jones also has the best office staff and assistants....not sure how he finds these people but must have a training program because they are always kind, friendly and helpful. I have moved to another state but will make the trip back to NC to have Dr. Jones take care of my oral surgery needs. He is the very best....you won't go wrong in choosing Dr. Jones!

Dr. Gary Jones is the best dental surgeon I have ever known.  He does excellant work.  He is very friendly and caring.  His staff is wonderful too.  I had two teeth removed and four dental implants .  I kept putting this procedure off because I was terrified of having screws implanted in my bone.  I only wish that I had done this two years ago.  I felt absolutely NO pain at all.  I went to sleep under general anesthesia and woke up to my dentist putting the lower denture on my implants.  It is like a miracle. The denture does not move, and does not press into the gums.  I used to get food under my old denture and could not bite down because of the pain.  This is wonderful, just like having your own teeth.  I can eat anything, even seeds.
Dr.Jones takes the time to explain every detail to you and show you models of the implants. He spends as much time as you need to discuss and understand the whole procedure and always tells you to call him if you have any questions.  He even gave my husband his cell phone number.  Fortunately I didn't need to call or take any pain medicine. The next day he called me at home to see how I was doing.  GREAT  !!   I told him.  Now I undersand why people travel from all over to go to him.  I am so happy I made this choice.

The first time I had an implant from Dr Gary Jones, I had a cracked molar and he had to extract it. I had anesthesia and the tooth was out in two minutes. The implant was more stressful but that's dentistry!

I would give them a 10 out of 10.

WHEN I WENT TO DR JONES I WAS SUFFERING FROM 2  INFLAMED,  ABSCESSED TEETH. THE SITE WHERE ONE TOOTH WAS REMOVED PREVIOUSLY, BY A    DENTIST,  HAD A  LARGE ABSCESS.. HE HAD TO  PERFORM ORAL SURGERY.  HE ALSO  EXTRACTED ONE TOOTH TO TRY TO CLEAR UP THE INFECTIONS. . MOST OF THE INFECTIONS ARE NOW ABATED.  I AM WAITING TO GET MY IMPLANT. THE MIND BENDING PAIN  GONE. FOR  THIS, I THANK HIM .
