Service went great very professional, called before any repairs were done and thoroughly explained them. Dean and Charles on the counter were great.

Most recently, mid winter inspected auto AC.  Wasn't able to do the full inspection given an AC hose was missing.  Charged $62 and at checkout, acknowledged the pricing was a bit high "will adjust when I've gotten the  hose is replaced".  Now wants an additional $80 plus parts for a normal inspection.  "NON negotiable"
See Angie's big deals offer -- $59 including freon.

It has been running pretty good since, and it has been fine. They always have great customer service there, and if they find something wrong with the car, they will come talk to you, and see if you want it fixed, and what needs to be done. So, they will talk to you. The last time I had a 30 or 40 minute wait, but they have a TV in the waiting room. I had made an appointment, so when I got there, they were able to look at the car and I just had to wait until they checked it and got the oil changed.

They are really nice, and they are really honest.  I had him look at a truck that I was trying to sell and he looked at it but he did not fix it, since it wasn’t enough to fix it though.  I went ahead and sold it.  He wrote down what it looked so I could give it to the guy.  They are real nice people and they are not pricey.  They give you real good service.  My neighbor swears by him.

I'm not sure of the date, but I can tell you that last year I took my car for an oil change, inspection and for them to fix the check engine light problem...after keeping my car for almost three days, they only changed the oil and inspected the car.  I went by the second day and my car was not even in the bay...they changed the oil, inspected it and parked it out back.  They said they would call me the next day...the next afternoon I called them and they said they were still working on it....I went by and told them to forget it.  All cars that came after me where in the bay or already done and gone and mine was still in the back.  They were going to over charge me for the oil change and when I asked why I was being charged so much, since I had always had my oil changed there, I was told that it was a mistake, that someone wrote that I had gotten synthetic oil, which I had not....so they corrected that.  Never took my car back there again.

Sooo, a few months ago, my husband had a problem with his truck and the engine light also...again, they kept the truck for two days and we had to call to see what was going on and they said they were still working on it.  We finally did the same thing that we did with the car....just drove over there, truck was out back, we picked it up and off we went to never, ever go back again.

In speaking with different friends, I have found out that they had had the same experience about this place keeping their car for days and not fixing it.

I think if they cannot fix the problem, they should let the customer know and not keep the car/truck parked out back for a few days making believe that something is being done.

I was getting vapors in the cab of my old truck.  Took it to Harrells.  Diagnosed with leaking heater core.  I just bought this truck as a fixer upper.  While there I asked them to check entire cooling system.  Needed radiator and heater core.  I ask them to replace both along with radiator hoses, heater hoses and general inspection.  They called with an estimate which I thought was reasonable and completed work as described on time..I have used Harrells for years.  They took care of my 1999 Tahoe from 49000 miles to 308000 miles.  During that time they did a lot of work.  Always gave a good estimate and stuck to it.  On a couple of occasions in that 10 year period issues came up about the repairs. I sold the Tahoe to my daughter and they have put 12000 more miles on it.  Still original engine and transmission. They always handled the issues to my satisfaction.I highly recommend their work.I generally work with Randy but have found all of their employees to be very well trained and professional.

Had the guys at Harrell's look at it and they advised the only problem was it needed 1 hose and a service.  When pricing the hose from Dealer it was $281 so Dean advised I could order it and they would install.  I ordered hose for $83 and am taking car tomorrow to install at a price of $150.  Total price $300 including the $72.00 to check it for leaks and my cost of the hose I ordered.  The staff was very courteous and the place is very professional.  I will definitely be a repeat customer as it is nice to find a honest, friendly, and understanding auto shop.  I would definitely recommend this shop for any automotive service.  Finished service the next day and did an outstanding job!  Will definately be using Harrell's again.
