Ken Hodge performed all of the work. He was courteous, punctual, and very professional. The overall quality of the work was outstanding, and I'd use this company again - but be prepared to fork out some serious cash for whatever work that you want done. Even with a 10% and quot;discountand quot;, the shower valve replacement cost nearly $500.00. Ouch! On a positive note, Ken clearly knows what he's doing. Considering the damage and problems that water can cause, you want someone who will do a proper job. Just be mentally prepared for what it's going to cost for labor. This job cost $239.15 for material, $36.00 for the trip charge to come to my home, and $195.00 for labor to replace the bathtub valve. Pros: The work was top quality. Cons: The total cost was *very* expensive with the labor charge/trip charge costing almost as much as the materials.

They sent a technician out the same day. The technician (Ken) arrived, and he was honest, competent, and professional in evaluating what needed to be done. Now, this particular business is not cheap, but they are punctual, competent, and proficient at what they do. I'm going to have to have the technician come back out to replace one of the faucets, and I'll write a separate report once that work is done.

The next morning, Sergio called me 30 minutes prior to the appt to tell me he was on his way. He arrived on time and I was comfortable with him instantly. I described the problem and he knew exactly what was wrong. He got to work, let me watch and even taught me about the appliance. He said the faulty piece was the thermocoupler. He taught me how it worked and even showed me how to replace it. He was terrific. Yey! Hot water! I would definitely call Haire Plumbing again.

I called the day before and was offered an appointment that very afternoon. I was not available until the next day however and we scheduled it for the next afternoon. The 2 servicemen arrived on time, removed the old water heater, and installed the new one in about 2 hours. They were polite and professional. The price was a little more than the other quote that I had gotten.

They were very good. I spent $300 for their services. They ultimately didn't fix the total problem I had because it was with my air conditioner. They did everything they could do. What I was impressed with was that they said that it was beyond what they could do. They showed me exactly what the problem was and where it was, but they weren't comfortable going into the air conditioning part. So, they recommended me to an air conditioning company. Then the air conditioning company came out and did it. It was exactly what was wrong with it. So, I was glad that Haire Plumbing didn't try tearing into it just because they could charge me. They were on time. The guy was very knowledgeable. It was very easy and he was a nice guy. He has been here all his life and worked there. I think Haire Plumbing has been in Fayetteville for a very long time.

Called Haire Plumbing based upon recommendations written on Angie's List. This is the second time that I've used Angie's List for service support, and I must say that I am two-for-two - two vendors, two OUTSTANDING results. Called Haire Plumbing at 8:00 a.m. the morning of 2 Sep 11. I had two plumbing issues: (1) Garbage Disposal had quit working (seized); and, (2) a bathtub drain that was not draining properly. Scheduler at Haire Plumbing indicated that a technician would be by between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and Noon the same day. I was more than pleased with that time schedule and agreed to the appointment. and quot;Charlieand quot; arrived at 9:30 a.m. and went right to work. In short order, he cleared an item that was obstructing the garbage disposal and put the disposal back in service. He then turned his attention to the bathtub, and removed a rather substantial blockage of hair from the drain sump area. (Lesson-learned: Don't wash your dog in the bathtub.) Throughout the service, Charlie was both professional and most courteous to me. Although I did not follow Charlie as he went about his work, he was fare careful to explain to me what action(s) he was taking and why he was taking them. All in all, it took Charlie approximately 30 minutes to complete both jobs. Charlie clearly epitomizes fast, efficient, and effective surface. At the end of the day, I paid a $36 service (trip) charge, and a $58.50 labor charge. I was more than happy to right the check. Bottom-line: They don't come any better then Charlie....and by extension...Haire Plumbing.

Overall this was an excellent experience, I found the technician Charlie informative, professional, curtious and knowledgeable.

I was very pleased with the service I got from Haire Plumbing, I had to have a hot water heater replaced. The serviceman (Charlie) was prompt and professional. He replaced the water heater in a timely, efficient manner. He was friendly and polite. I will definately use Haire Plumbing for any more plumbing problems/needs I have. And I will definately request Charlie be the service man they send out for the job! I highly recommend this company!

I requested last appt of the day and expected a visit by 4pm. They called at 4:30pm to say they were on their way. They arrived at 5pm but did not charge overtime for their late visit. They were dressed professionally and were very courteous. They took care of the leak and my 2 faucets in an hour. This made the hourly fee charges minimal. I was very pleased with the service and thought the pricing was fair. Too bad the military discount is not for retirees, that would have helped! The fact that they could make the service call in less that 24 hours was a plus. Probably earlier if I had not requested last appt of the day.I have referred them to others and will call them back for future repairs (hopefully none soon).

Haire arrived on time and with the right equipment and informed me that he could probably clear the drain through the trap rather than going through the roof. In less than an hour the plumber cleared the drain in the method that would have been covered by my home warranty company if he previous companies had had the necessary equipment to do the work. The price was also 30% less that quoted for the roof vent procedure by the second plumber. The only down side is that I paid my deductible to the first plumber and also had to pay for the third plumber (Haire) out of my own pocket. Haire was absolutely superb in all categories.

It's an ongoing thing so they are still coming back. They are great. They are actually terrific. We have already spent four or five thousand dollars. When I read Angie's List reviews, some guys loved them and gave them A in everything but said that they were a little bit expensive than anybody else. That was the only thing they didn't like. After I heard how good they were and saw that they had got 20 great reviews on Angie's List, I didn't really go to any other plumber. We used them and liked them so much that we didn't use any other plumber. We didn't even get an estimate from any other plumber. Their price was fair. We are still using them.

Besides being late they did a pretty good job because I don't have a leak any more. They were friendly and I can't complain. The price kind of shocked me because I am unemployed and every little penny counts. I would probably look around in the future before hiring them again

After I tried a DIY resolution to my low water pressure problem in my masterbath shower, I called Haire Plumbing (frantically) and told them that I was concerned that I reassembled the shower cartridge and flow handle incorrectly (and possibly had a slow leak inside the shower wall). I shut the water main off. The plumber (Ken) came to the house within 2 hours and methodically went through all the possibilities to finding out what was causing the low water pressure (up through the shower head). The water pressure through the valve was very strong but just trickled through the shower head ( which was new...no clogs in the shower head). After cutting through the back wall, he changed the entire valve assembly (I had purchased a brand new shower head assembly prior to his arrival) and reconnected the various water lines, the pressure was great!!! I am soooo happy. I can rinse all the shampoo out of my hair again! Thanks for the quick and thorough service.

While removing bushes on our property, my husband hit the main water supply for the house, and we were unable to turn off the water at the source. I called Haire and they told me they could send someone within the hour. Less than 15 minutes later, the workmen arrived! They were very prompt and professional, and they were able to turn off the water at the street and patch the broken pipe in less than 10 minutes. Given the large amount of water, they were very clean, very fast, and very reasonably priced!

The drains in my upstairs bathroom were clogging and I had tried drano on two separate occasions with no success. Haire plumbing quickly identified the problem. They fixed it with ease and had my drains flowing again in under 30 min. They fixed my bath tub drain and sink drain in less than 30 min.! Very professional and well trained staff. I was very impressed with their services.

I wanted to fix my leaky shower fixture, but when I turned off the main water valve, it didn't cut the water off completely. I knew I was not qualified to replace a valve on copper pipe, so I needed a plumber. I called at 11:30am on a Thursday. The dispatcher told me they could get someone out before 3pm, so I hurried the 5 miles home from work. The service guys arrived at my house less than 5 minutes after I did. The main valve was a gate valve, which they replaced with a ball valve, and they offered to fix my leaky shower fixture while they were there. They were pleasant and professional, and took the time to explain what they were doing. They were cleaned up and gone an hour and a half after I made the initial call. I suffered sticker shock from the price; $225 for approximately one hour's work. I have no idea if this is high, low or in the middle, but it certainly felt like a lot. However, the responsiveness and professionalism means I will probably call them again.

A drain line under the house burst and we turned to the yellow pages to find a plumber....called Haire's Plumbing, and they responded in a timely manner. While here the technician capped off two water lines in the house for us as well.

I was quoted a price before hand on this job of 300 to 420. The plumbers were supposed to arrive in the morning around 8:30, after I called at 10 to make sure they were still coming, I was assured I was next on the list. 3 plumbers arrived at 11:30, the one plumber(charles) was just there to show the other two(angel and ernesto) what needed to be done then he was leaving and would return later or the next day with the bill. Well, I guess it was lunch time, because ernesto and angel sat in the truck from 11:39 until 12:10, then they came in and started the 3 hour job. These two were unprepared, they had no flashlight, he was using his cell phone. They had no bucket, I know this because when I heard a rush of water hitting my floor downstairs I handed them my mop bucket. When it was all over with the amount of copper they took out of my house could have been a nice down payment on a cleaning service to clean up the mess they left. I brought this up with Charles when he came back 2 days later with the bill, he said he would address it with the office. When I showered the day after the repair there was still some water leaking out of the drain, of course when Charles came back it wasn't doing it. He said he would tighten up the connections and if I had any more water leaking to call.

I purchased a new faucet at Home Depot and the 2 drain baskets($15). When the plumber arrived he told me that the baskets I purchased would not last and he had 2 Kohler basket strainers he would put in($72/each). Had to have him come back a few days later because there was still a leaking connection under the sink. Plumber(Charles) was very friendly and professional.

My hot water heater started leaking into my downstairs neighbor's home so I had to shut all the water off in my home. I contacted my home warranty company and the referred me to Haire Plumbing, they at first told me that they could not get anyone out until later that day but when I told them that I had to shut all the water off in my home because the Hot Water valve was broken they sent an technician over within a couple hours, he repaired the valve so that I could at least have cold water over night, he then told me that he would have the new hot water heater here by 0930 in the next morning, at 0900 he was here with the new heater. I was really impressed with the professionalism and workmanship working in really hot temperatures. I would highly recommend this company for all my and anyone future plumbing needs.

The gentlemen arrived on time and did a great job while helping me understand more about my new home's plumbing. The company provided the best price.

My kitchen faucet stopped working, and my landlord called this company. They showed up within a day or two of alerting my landlord of the problem, but did not call before they came. They just showed up at my house. They found out what was wrong and replaced the faucet in a timely manner, and I was pleased, besides the showing up anannounced. Then, I noticed that they had thrown away all of my lawn bags that had been under the sink without telling me they had even gotten them wet. Then, two days later, I noticed that my bucket of cleaning rags was full of water, and assumed I had a leak, so I called to let them know, and again they showed up with no warning. But after a few minutes of messing with the pipes, he admitted that he had used ALL of my clean rags to clean up his mess two days earlier, and put them all back in the bucket soaked. Again, he didn't tell me. So, had I not noticed quickly, I would have had a horrible smell coming from under my sink. The point is, they did fine work, but they were very very unprofessional and I will not be using them again.

Overall service went very well. The plumbers were friendly, professional and showed the faulty pressure regulator to my wife and explained why it was no longer operational. My wife was there for the repair and she felt comfortable with the courtesy the plumbers showed towards her. Plumbers were also nice enough to respond to a request I made to check in crawl space under dining room for any possible leaks.

Called and they had a contractor out in a couple of hours. Had to wait an hour for a replacement tank. All done within in a few hours. All things considered, fair price.

The plumber that came out here was very quick and she answered all of my questions.
