Special drill bits required to go through ceramic tile in shower to install safety bars properly. The job was well done. And, I think they went through three bits to make sure it was completed properly.

Long and short term goals explained to contractor. Written estimates provided for prioritized work that needed to be done immediately. Ideas given to consider for future work and and failing paint job (interior peeling) from paint job done less than a year ago by another company prior to customers moving into home. Repair work took approximately four days. Work was turn key, neat, with clean-up, and old materials hauled off. Workman polite, trustworthy, required little supervision from home owner as they were closely supervised on as needed basis by company owner for starting, stopping, completing and reviewing each task. No profanity or swearing by workers on site. Definitely will use this company and its workers for future work.

I very much wanted to be able to write a good review but can not. The company gave a great estimate, is rated highly on Angie's List, was very punctual, and seemed very professional. Now that I have finished the job they should have, here are a few of the issues:
1. They popped off aluminum wrap from the old French Door and didn't bother replacing it (we mentioned it during the estimate and were told it wouldn't be an issue re-using it). We have had numerous window and door replacements in the past and the workers have ALWAYS been able to replace the wrap. Not only did they not replace the old wrap, they left the nails that held it on sticking out of the wood and simply painted over them. They also said they would put us in touch with their wrap guy to get it replaced. I only assume they wouldn't pay for it but they never bothered to do it anyway so we'll never know. Bottom line, now we have ONE door that isn't trimmed out like EVERY other door and window on the house.
2. The front porch railings. During the estimate, they indicated they would have to put a half height mid-post in as our porch is wide and they don't make a vinyl railing that would span the distance. No problem...except that when installed, the post was anchored so poorly that it truly created a safety hazard. Our porch is approx. ten feet up at the highest point and the mid joint was so week that a child leaning against it would cause it to fail. I would expect a professional to KNOW this in advance and tell me about it. The issue would have made the house un-insurable. That ANY contractor would find this acceptable is astonishing. The "fix" was to add full posts at an additional cost of $400.00. So, it's kinda' like this: Give estimate, create safety hazard, HOPE homeowner accepts it, if not then CHARGE to fix safety hazard. Unsatisfactory. There are MANY additional issues with the front porch work including poor trim work, poor finishing work, etc. but the safety issue is appalling.
I'm not sure at what point they decided to simply "cut losses" on my home and just do shoddy work as quickly as possible in order to save a few bucks knowing full well we would NEVER call them again but it appears that is precisely what happened. They did ask us to look at the work and we simply said "fine" just to get them out of here. If they are willing to accept a safety hazard, we are NOT willing to let them continue working on our home.
Good luck with this company. I hope you have a better experience should you decide to use them.

The floors turned out nice. There are some places where the tile is uneven. Some just a corner, some are a little raised on more than a corner. They put the backer board on the floor before they put on the tile, but was told that those places that were not even was because the floor was not level. We cleaned the grout haze that was left after installers did a quick job. But all in all very pleased with the outcome.

Geo is our go to guy when it comes to ANYTHING in our house. He never disappoints and is a great, honest, and personable professional. We've been using his company for almost 4 years now and never had any issues. This most recent visit he helped me fix some wiring issues I was having while installing a fan. He happened to be a block away from my house when I called for help. He came by right away, addressed my issue and headed right back to his current project. He didn't even charge me because it was a matter of swapping a few wires. That's the kind of honest and amazing service you get when you hire him. Not only did he help me but he taught me basic wiring tips for the future. Don't think twice, hire him and keep him on speed dial for any future projects that may pop up.

Everything went well. Very professional. Gave an estimate of all costs evolved. And preform the work to my satisfaction.
