I had been planning to do this remodel for quite some time and having difficulty finding someone that did great work at a fair price. Then, a coworker (who had just used Ellen for a bathroom remodel) recommended I contact her. Her quote was fair. I was VERY impressed that she didn't just provide a general quote; but, provided a detailed itemized quote that showed me what work would be done and line item cost. This confirmed that I had found someone who KNEW what she was doing. I provided the tile, vanity/sink, faucet, fixtures.
Ellen was prompt throughout the job, always professional, and very detailed and thorough. She has integrity and takes pride in
We had initially planned to install normal 3/8" drywall and when Ellen was finishing the demo, she discovered the 5/8" fire protection drywall; she brought me in to see it and discuss to ensure I understood that 5/8" was in place and why it was used. So, we then could make the decision to use 5/8" to maintain fire protection for my unit and the complex. We uncovered a couple of additional surprises (a cut support beam, extremely unlevel floors) from the original builder back in the mid-80's; and were able to make my bathroom structurally stronger/safer than when she began work.
The result: I now have a GORGEOUS bathroom that I know is not only beautiful but safe too!!!
Thanks, Ellen, for a GREAT job!!! I will certainly hire you again; and, would definitely refer your services to others.
"Thank you member, it was a pleasure working with you!"
