Why does this review form FORCE me to provide a date for construction of a home? This has nothing to do with a house?

The experience was great, took longer than we expected, but it was due to parts that were difficult to find.

I could have been told my altenator didn't need replace . Just the belt they switched altenators and mine was ok They never tested it could have been a cheap repair !

They accomplished the work in a timely manner and everything seems to be working well. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they said they couldn't guarantee the work unless they replaced the clutch and clutch plate, but, it made sense to go ahead and replace everything while they were working on it. I asked around and for the work that was accomplished, I was told that 2600 was a fair price.

my experience with cumberland motor works was absolutely refreshing and an awesome change from dealing with many other contractors and service personnel in the area as of lately. at the beginning of a trip from NC to TX, at night, our truck blew out a spark plug and took the hole's threads with it. first inclination was to take it to the local dealer. several parts store employees stated this repair would cost approx $1000 at one of the two ford dealers in town and steered me to several smaller shop in the area close to the hotel my family was in. after explaining to the shop the next morning our situation, i had a tow truck at the hotel in 20 minutes, was at the shop in 15 minutes, and was in the garage immediately upon arrival. 2 hours later my truck had new spark plug hole threads and a new coil on the spark plug. within 30 minutes the shop had someone at the hotel to pick me up to come pick up the truck at the shop. 10 minutes later i was out the door for $250. 2 hours of labor was cheaper than 1 hour at a dealer. these guys had me back on track with our travel plans much sooner than i ever expected and for less than expected. as i am moving from the area, i'm sorry that i had not had a relationship with this shop in the past. cumberland motor works will be the first place i recommend to friends in the area that need auto service and repairs. this shop is capable of many types of extensive repairs that other shops turn away. they definitely went out of their way for me and my family today. refreshing.
