They have exceptional doctors. They are extremely friendly. You could tell that they love their animals there. They are quite expensive.

When I called to discuss a referral from another vet to this vet for surgery on my animal I was told and quot;We will call you back.and quot; I did not receive that call. When I call again I was told and quot; The vet is out. We will call you back.and quot; Since I still have not heard back from them I will assume that and quot;We will call you backand quot; translates to and quot;we don't want your businessand quot; Thank goodness this is not an emergency case, my animal would be dead by now.

This animal clinic is very caring, has great hours, offers boarding and has done a great job caring for our aging dog.

Our Elkhound was slightly limping so we made an appointment for the vet. We dropped him off thinking he may need xrays. After a few hours the Doctor called and explained that they have been playing with him to see about his limp....but she could not find anything. She gave us the option of getting xrays or just waiting it out. We decided to go ahead with the xrays. Apparently our dog has severe hip dysplasia for his age. The doctor immediatley began a pain management plan and a weight loss plan. She discussed all the surgery options that we have. She did not push surgery....she was more worried about his weight. She helped up plan everything from a new type of bed, changing food, medications, and a monthly shot regiment. Our doctor went as far as to show us her own dog with hip dysplasia to show that the quality of life can still be great with the right pain management plan.

They gave me 3 option: one is an operation, the second is to euthanize now because his quality of life is pretty poor, and the third was to bring him home and take care of him while we can. We have a close relationship with them. We give them As for everything.

I have three dogs that they groom and take to the spa. I like their grooming people and they take really good care. I actually go there because they were referred to us and I hate looking for a vet, but I have seen one or two other vets, where generally I dropped my dogs off and went away and when I came back later, they would have had all their shots done and those vets were fine too. I rate them highly and I will continue to use them in the future.

I was led to believe that my new kitten was immunized after adoption from a shelter. He was brought to this animal hospital within one day of adoption for all of his necessary shots and health assessment.

Some months later, when I had to bring him in for a semi urgent complaint, I was informed that he was not immunized, particularly not for rabies. I was curious to know why he was not immunized when he was initially brought in and evaluated, especially since I had paid for the wellness check. The vet tech only said it was because he was sneezing the day he was brought in. Confused, I relayed to the tech that I wasn't aware that he hadn't received his immunization that day and that I was a little disappointed that no reminders were sent out since we had enrolled in the kitten wellness plan. That was when things got tense and instead of working toward a solution, the tech got defensive and dismissive and frankly downright disrespectful. It was extremely uncomfortable.

Although at the end I was furious, instead of creating a scene, I quietly asked the front desk clerk to have the office manager contact me regarding my experience. I outlined to her that I had just had a really awkward and unpleasant experience with their services and I would like some resolution. I was never contacted.

A few days later, I stopped by to have my pet's records copied so I could be seen by a more respected and responsive vet in town, I waited quietly in the waiting room while the clerk ran to find the records. That is when the owner/vet came out and approached me.

He took me back to an exam room, where he proceeded to close the door. I guess I assumed he wanted to talk the issue over and resolve my unhappiness with the care there, but I quickly realized that was not the case. He very shortly began a verbal assault toward me for complaining about his staff. He kept telling me there are two sides to every story and he is going to support his staff and that this wasn't a good fit. It was clear that he was angry and he started lobbing personal jabs about me as a person. It was nuts! He kept calling me the most arrogant person he had ever met even though I had spent less than five minutes with him and had never met the man before this. What professional man verbally attacks a woman for being unhappy with their services?! I was starting to get a little worried that this would continue to escalate. I had to ask him to please open the door and let me out of the room as he was intentionally physically blocking my exit. I thought for a minute he would not comply and had to ask a second time, and I suppose he finally felt satisfied with his rant and relented. Frankly, it was frightening and I am still shaken from this strange experience! To add insult to injury I was not even given my records.

I would emphatically not recommend this establishment. Dishonest and darkly hostile environment!

My dog was brought in for an emergency. I would say not to bring your pet to them. I wish I could think of the specific veterinarians name. He was just awful and rude to me on the phone. I was calling from Afghanistan and he got to the point he would not even talk to me. Once he found out he was out of the country I believe he wanted to take me for as much money as he good. He knew my dog had no nerves and would require a second surgery and he really took me for all my money. They are not ethical and I don't think he considered the dog in any of it. They were just horrible with my dog.

My cat was having trouble with his front left paw and seemed to be having trouble wih his other legs as well. When walking on his front left paw, he was walking on the flat of his foot and the upper part of his arm instead of his toes. He had been in for a previous examination. At that time, the doctor physically manipulated his joints and suggested a urinalysis. The urinalysis would determine whether or not he had diabetes. The doctor explained that if he had diabetes, this could be the cause of his limp and overall trouble with his legs/joints. The urinalysis came back clean. So, diabetes was ruled out. The next course of action was to take xrays. This is what I did at this visit.

I was able to drop my cat off in the morning since they were going to give him anesthesia in order to take the xrays. As soon as they were done, they called and left me a detailed message as to their findings. Since I was in the area when the doctor left a message on my cell, I stopped by to speak to the doctor that reviewed the radiographs. She was extremely helpful and explained everything to me. She showed me the radiographs, explaining that he had arthritis and that he had ruptured the tendon in his front left paw. She showed me on the readiographs how they determined this. She answered all of my questions and explained the next step. In this case, there was none. She explained that given his condition there was not a procedure that could be done. It was an injury that in cats and in dogs was not operable. If they operated, they may actually make the injury worse. She explained that the tendons in cats and dogs are so small that they may be ripped further when trying to repair them. She also explained that there is no aspirin for cats to help with the pain. Their kidneys are so sensitive that there is not an aspirin that has ever been made that works without further hurting the cats. She explained that there was a medication that worked differently, targeting the pain differently. But, since I had already given this to my cat previously and did not notice an improvement in movement or sensitivty to touch in the area, it was not going to be useful to put him on this. The only course was to have him trim down and a plan was set up for this.

Overall, I was very pleased and the cost, to me, seemed reasonable. The prognosis was not dragged out either. We did not keep trying something else diagnostic wise and my cat was not put through more stress than necessary. I will definitely keep using this vet.

I left my cat for the weekend. It was a good experience for him. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They make sure all of my concerns were addressed. They also let me see the area where he would be kept and gave me the option of bringing food or using theirs. I was also able to get the feline bordatello done for him while I was there (this is included in the $65) so overall, I think it was a good service for a reasonable price.
