Rick and his crew did a fantastic job. I had them tear down the old wooden fence and replace it with vinyl fence. Also had them teardown old wooden deck and replaced with a compsite deck. On the side they built me a new ramp for my shed. Several years back they replaced my wooden front porch with a vinyl porch. Because of the excellent job they did back then it was a no-brainer to call them again for all this work. They did all the work last Christmas time frame. Now in June the gate needed adjustment. I sent him a text late in the afternoon and the next morning he was there to adjust the gate. Now that's how you tell how good someone is when they quickly come back 6 months later to fix something. Some people get the job to never be heard from again. I will always use him for anything I need done. He has made my house a lot less maintenance for me. No more painting the porch, fence, or deck.

Rick and his guys did an amazing job! They were fast, efficient, and most of all complete professionals. We absolutely love the new fence and couldn’t believe how quickly they got the old one demolished and new one installed. Rick kept us updated at every step along the way and was beyond patient with our questions. This fence will definitely last for many years to come, but if I ever need another, Rick is our go-to!

These guys are just awesome, on site every day until the job was finished. Rick Raymes has a top crew and their work is world class. We did a wooden fence and a 18 x 20 patio cover w/tin roofing. Beuatiful job, respectful of the property and always professional and courteous. Cleaned up when finished and we paid a "very fair" price, he's super competitive. Go with him without fear of being ripped off, or louse work.

A little over a month ago, Rick Raymes and his crew finished work on our back deck and I cannot say enough good things about Rick and his crew. From our initial meeting to discuss the project, Rick not only showed up, on time, but he and his crew even started earlier than anticipated! The finished project, which consisted of replacing the original deck and adding a pergola, far exceeded our expectations and where there were structural issues in the original framing that was not replaced, those issues were fixed and at a very reasonable price. They left a clean worksite daily and I have yet had to pick up any construction trash left behind from the project. Workmanship, pricing, and everything about the project was outstanding! If you want your deck construction project done right the first time, your only call should be to Cape Fear Deck & Fencing, you will not be disappointed! Highly recommend this company.

Rick and Ray did a fantatic job! They showed up every day as promised and got right to work. We had a period of heavy rain and they did as much as they could before it got too wet and then came back immediately after to finish up. The fence looks great, is nice and straight and true, and they cleaned up completely. I'm amazed at how much the two men were able to do as quickly as they did. We're very happy with their work...thanks guys!

The owner, Rick was courteous and professional. He explained the process and the materials that would be used for the installation of the privacy fence. My fence was completed within a week. Rick and his team installed a fence for us 10 years ago and replace a deck about 7 years ago. We’re moving locally, so we had him come out and do another fence at the new house. We have a huge backyard that is partially filled with a forest trees. I love Rick’s fences and the fact that he’s willing to work around/through the forested areas. Part of the reason we chose Rick again is because he does great, quality work. My personal favorite thing about his fences is that the gates never sag! If you’ve had a wooden fence before, you know annoying it can be to open a sagging fence. At our current house, we have gates Rick put in that are 10 years old and still not sagging. He did another beautiful and quality fence for us. It will keep our dog in and other creatures out... all while looking beautiful! Rick is an upfront and very trustworthy businessman. We love his work and his dependability!

We have had this company out several times now for different projects. We expect contractors to do what they promise and unfortunately we have had several bad ones. With Cape Fear deck and fence we have never been disappointed. Mr Raymes gave us an estimate which we felt was a bit on the low side because several other contractors were much higher in price. Since we were pleased with the fence he built, we gave him the project. We were not disappointed! It was a 12 x 20 foot deck with vinyl composite railing and wide stairs. The posts were set on footings and concreted in, he used quality materials, flashed the house where the deck made contact, and even fixed damage on our house from a previous contractor. All this for $5,750.00! I got a deal! I feel sorry for the people in the next century who have to remove the deck, it is so well build they will need a jack hammer. It is very beautiful too! We are so excited for the holidays when the family can come home and enjoy it! Thanks Rick and Bryan and the crew for a beautiful job! We are so pleased!

Very prompt, professional and courteous response. No charge for the handful of nails used or fence re-inspection. My wife and I were in the process of selling the house and because of a service-connected disability, I was not able to re-nail the few places that needed it. I offered to pay for the work and was told there was no charge. I would definitely use this company again. They are very honest and trustworthy.

It went better than expected. I thought they were going to do two stages and they did it all in one day (8-9am to 3:00pm). Down to earth people, respectful and very professional. They brought all the material to work site so it seemed like they never stopped working until the job was done. I would recommend this business to family and friends.

Mr. Rick and his partner got to my mom's house early the morning of and was finished by noon. They cleaned up nicely after themselves and they were very pleasant and professional. I have some work to do at my own home, and I am looking forward to working with Mr. Rick again. I also, believe that there was some honestly in costs because I was quoted one price, and Mr. Rick informed me of a difference in material pricing which he did not have to do. I could have easily been ripped off by another I imagine, and I greatly appreciate that honesty.

The work Rick and the gentlemen from Cape Fear Deck & Fence was very high quality workmanship. Not only did these gentlemen haul material up and down the ateocious hill my property sits on, but every portion of the fence was done to a high standard, and properly. They also leveled out the ground to allow better fit of the fence, as well as hauled the old material away. The gates installed had high quality locks, as wel as adjustable cable tensioners to prevent sagging. I would recommend Cape Fear Deck & Fence without hesitation.
