I am a professional small business owner who values honesty and integrity and treats your property as if it were my own. I offer a variety of Landscaping and Lawn Care services that are customizable to each individual project. FULL-SCALE LANDSCAPING - Blueprints, Commercial and Residential. Irrigation System design and installation (up to 2 1/2" mainline without blueprints). Brick pavers, Tennessee flagstone sidewalk and patio installation. Bulkheads, cypress fencing. Tree installation. GRADING - Site pad's. Pull sidewalks and driveways. Set and change drainage. Shoot grades W/instrument for perfect accuracy and no surprises in the future. DRAINAGE - French drains, catch basins, etc. I have 3 decades worth of experience solving some of the hardest drainage issues. I hired him to fix stairs that were uneven and old. He removed the old step and placed new steps with pavers and railroad ties as discussed. The steps were overly sloped. I asked him to correct it. He came back to try to fix it. I also asked him to secured the step. He tried to nail them together instead of using rebar like my old steps. After the first rain my steps started to wash away. He then tells me he did not realize how much water was coming down. Mind you he claims he specializes in drainage. He then told me that he needed to cut my. Driveway and put in drainage. The cost of this is basically the cost of the install on of the steps. I am out of thousands of dollars and have a worst problem then I started out with. Had I known it would have cost be 2x the amount he quoted I would have gone a different route If you hire him make sure the quote is very detailed with all the materials and everything that will be done.

The stone retaining wall was beautiful. Obviously a great deal of care was taken to ensure it was level across the entire front of the house on both sides of the walkway. Shrubs and foliage that was selected for the flower beds were perfect for what we were looking for—nice variations of color s and sizes

Foundation Drainage Installation and Replacement
Damaged my property and left a mess. Agreed to deduct cost of repair and clean up, but later complained. Job was done to a low standard and boxes do not fully drain. He is a nice guy, however expects cash transactions. Uses vague contracts and verbal agreements. He does not stay at work location and had crew issues that caused week delay of work being started. Job took 2 days more than he expected and asked to be paid prior to job being completed to pay his crew. Once I complained about job quality and damage of property we agreed on a half payment now half when completed, once lot dried out. He said at least 2 or 3 weeks. He then proceeded to write home advisor and bad mouth me about non payment and couldn't reach me. I told him the phone thing was his phone not mine. In the end he did finish the job to my satisfaction. However, damaged property, filthy mess left behind, poor business practices and infintile behavior are enough to make me steer clear again.

"Just looking at my ratings. rarely get bad ones. first of all, due to this pandemic, nobody in business can find anyone to work. I am still going through that now. as far as extra time. did not know the entire yard was solid clay. not sand clay solid clay. the job was very challenging due to these issues. we did it working in 2-inch mud. could not do a final grade to his satisfaction until it dried brought in 2 yds of fill dirt and graded smooth. as far as damage to property. my guys had a small pile of dirt by the gate and someone opened it and bent the bottom hinge. after working a hard day on a Friday we left without cleaning the back patio and some."

I previously wrote an excellent review. They worked well took dirt and filled holes in my lawn, in a timely manner. The problem being we requested a channel drain, we were advised that the drain they installed would work better and take care of our problems. I listened to someone I thought was an expert. Unfortunately what he recommended did not take care of any of the problems and we now have more water standing and flooding our side door and yard than before. We have contacted and texted the company and the issues have not been resolved and now he is not responding to texts. Do not waste your money.

"ma'am. I told you that the grass around the slab was holding the water from going into the drain once removed the water would drain off the slab. I didn't think you needed to spend the extra 1000.00 to cut the driveway and put the channel drain in. just tryed to save you money. sorry your not happy"

Mark was very easy to work with from the beginning to the end of our project. He was responsive to our questions and took great pride in making sure the job was done right. His quote was extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of work his crew did. His crew was awesome. Our young kids wanted to watch and be outside while they worked, and they not only didnâ t act annoyed, but were friendly to the kids. Anytime I went outside to ask a question or let the kids play, they turned off their music (which was not loud or vulgar to begin with) out of respect for me. I was blown away by the crewâ s attitude. Even though the project took longer than they planned (it was a lot of work!) Mark honored his original proposed cost. Highly recommend.

Arrived on time for the project, and had some other information that was helpful as to the drainage for my flower beds. Very professional crew. Finished a little earlier than expected. Will definately use them again next year.

I would not recommend Mr. Boling, or his workers at all and will not hire them again. Boling Green Earth Care was very unprofessional and charged $2,450 for something that should have been way less. What we discussed and what he did was two different things. When I asked him about clarifying in the contract he made it seem like it was there and that he knew what was supposed to happen, yet when the work was being done he referred back to the contract that he failed to update. He was very disrespectful when I confronted him about issues. His workers were untrue to him as far as what was going on and the conditions of the grounds instead of being honest and letting him know that they took numerous breaks due to the heat. To be honest they should have gone home after it became too hot, as at that point they did way more sitting and talking than working. Mr. Boling then attempted to call me untruthful as he knew what was going on even though I was here and witnessed everything and he did not. My wires were cut through and my plant was running over during this time. They told me the plumbers must have done it but after fondling out about the excuses I did not feel as they could be trusted at all. No one said anything about my plant running over. To sum it up, I was completely swindled off with something I could have done myself and saved myself the headaches for a couple of hundred dollars. This job looks completely sloppy. They did not build up the areas like I requested and then did a very poor job of cleaning out or up anything to make it look professional. For $2,450 you had the money to make it look professional. Mr. Boling does not stand behind his work, is unaware of his dishonest employees unfortunately and his work is not guaranteed.

I was hired to keep the water from your crawl space and nothing else. not to landscape your yard. the plant they ran over was a simple 1.00 liriope in a spot that was in the way. I fulfilled the contract as was written. and you did not even pay the bill. habitat for humanity payed this bill for some reason. and when I mentioned your concerns they told me you have done this with every other contractors that has fixed this house. you are a bad person that I hope no other contractors have to deal with you. as to what my crew does when it is 100 degrees is none of your! business. Mark along with Dillan and his crew done an excellent job. I had sod installed in my side and back yard. Plus, some drainage issues fixed. I also threw a couple more projects in with the others and they handled it without any issues. It was a huge job. I appreciated their work ethic. I only wish that I had weed block put down when they planted my trees and shrubbery. I have already recommended Boling Green Earth Care to my friends and neighbors.

As with the first time Mark and Dillan were on time with both estimates and workdays. This project included a number of items; remove pine-straw from beds, replace with crushed brick, connect two gutter downspouts into one drain pipe and ran that under sidewalk to new larger water drain basin. They also trimmed all my bushes, "outstanding job" Dillan, and planted a beautiful 8' Crape Myrtle tree in our backyard. Everything was completed on time and when i called about an issue Mark and Dillan came by the next Sat morning to assess and schedule to fix problem. Great communication, very professional and wonderful finished product!!

Mark is professional, on time, and communicates very well. Mark and Dillan re-graded our yard to solve drainage issue, extended sprinkler system and laid new sod in the backyard. Their crew were always courteous and professional, asked questions when needed, and cleaned up every day before notifying us they were leaving. Mark even informed me of a drain box they broke (I would have never known) and came back later to replace it. I highly recommend Boling Green Earth Care.

Mark and Dillan made my back yard exactly how I imagined it. Dillan was so skilled at crafting and building my retaining wall prior to laying sod down. The guys were also more diligent than I expect anyone to be when it came to raking the yard flat to allow for a smooth surface for the sod. You could tell that at every level of this company the workers care about their final product. I ll be looking forward to hiring them again in the future.

Sod Installation
Mark from Boling green was nice when speaking on the phone and in person but his message responses were more on the rude side. The work his men did on my yard was subpar. From a distance, it looks decent. But up close, there are missing pieces of sod, gaps, and an uneven base which makes the yard look lumpy if you will. I also found a lot of sod thrown in the bushes next to my yard. He was priced well. But just know what you are paying for.

"first of all my crew has laid hundreds of pallets of sod and never does subpar work. I won't stand for it there are no gaps and the grading was perfect. I have before and after pictures to prove that. Yes they did throw some scrap pieces into the over grown area next to scope of work and were reprimanded. after over 20 five star ratings it's obvious even I can't please everyone. Good day ma'am"
