We found a tire online that we liked. my husband went in and in store the tire was more but when he mentioned the online quote they adjusted the price. We were satisfied with our experience.

They were very fast and convenient.

Flat tire turned out to be a broken valve stem. Tire was repaired at no charge even though I did not purchase the tires at this business.
Will definitely use this business again for car maintenance and tires.

I felt like they were honest and I knew what I was spending when I went in there. They told me what it was going to cost and that's what it cost. They did not try to take advantage of me and they were timely and friendly.

EXCELLENTLY! The story is a bit complicated so to the best that I can, I'll make it simple. First stop was a local repair shop that performed only a "partial" alignment for the $59.00 quoted price for a "wheel alignment". For an additional $135.00 plus tx I could buy a "complete" alignment...? ?I declined the offer and went on my way. Second stop was a certain Blacks Tire store. Here I was assured of a "complete" alignment for $59.00. I agreed to the price and bought 2 new tires for the front. When we received the car back, there were several issues. The van still pulled to the right,the steering wheel was now very crooked (turned to the left while driving straight) and the left turn signal would not stay engaged because of it. You had to hold it down while waiting at a stop to turn. When I called to report my problems I was told that if the tires began to wear unevenly, just bring the van back and they will take a look at it. He assured me that they stand behind their work and to bring it back if there were uneven or unusual signs of tire wear......So now 3 months, and 4,000 miles later, the right front tire has worn and is now showing signs of uneven wear. So I stopped in to make an appointment..... hoping they will also fix the crooked steering wheel and blinker as well. I was directed to another of their stores very close to where my wife works.This seemed reasonable and we went forward with the 3rd location to hopefully get a decent wheel alignment.What happened at this store is the reason for all this. We dropped of the van at about 7:15 at Blacks Tire on Owen Dr. (actually the address is on Bordeaux Park Dr. there is a side street I guess.. But it faces OWEN DR. on the right just past Cape Fear Hospital heading towards Rt 301). I spoke briefly with Dwayne as Mike was not in yet. By mid morning, Dwayne called and told me of the overall condition of the front tires and alignment as it stood. The alignment was a mess and the 2 front tires were shot.Not knowing how "shot" they were, I offered him to put them on the back and the backs on the front to get a good alignment. He declined my offer stating "You just bought these tires less than 4,000 miles ago. There is nothing wrong or loose on the front end to do this to the tires except a bad alignment. I will see to it that you have a new set." Shortly after lunch, Dwayne called me and informed me of the possibility of having to do the repairs another day since he needed a part that may have to be FED EX'd in.I agreed. Within the hour he called back to say that he was able to find the part locally and if all went well, the van should be ready this afternoon. They were able to get the needed parts,install 2 new tires, perform a "COMPLETE" 4 wheel alignment and had the van delivered to my wife at her place of work approximately 3:00. SOOOOO,,, The front and rear wheel alignment were all done free of charge to us. The parts required to make it right were aquired and installed free of charge to us. The 2 new tires were provided, mounted,balanced and installed free of charge to us. The crooked steering wheel is now straight, the directional works as it should. Mr Dwayne was a true professional throughout the process. I suspect we both knew things that we could have said to each other about the first Blacks Tire place,however because Mr Dwayne took the high road we didn't. I guess every repair doesn't go 100% correct. I'm just grateful that there are places like Blacks on Owen Drive that can handle the problem and hold a level of integrity that helps us be better people. He saw to it that the problem just got fixed without all the drama that somehow we have gotten used to. Here is a place that you can count on to get it right even if ( as in our case ) they lose money for the sake of good business and company reputation.WOW what a concept!

He’s so thorough! I’ve had problems with other mechanics respecting me as a woman, but I’ve never had issues with these guys. They will bring you home, and pick you up when your car is done.
