Basic Lawn And Fence

Everything went very well. The workers were all pleasant and I am very pleased with my fence.

When I initially contact basic lawn and fence they were quick to get back with me and come out for an estimate. The quote was better than other companies I had called so I decided to go with them. They stated they would be out to install the fence at an agreed upon time and ended up having to wait due to delivery delays and bad weather. Supplies such as wood and cement bags were delivered to my home and sat on my back yard for over a week which killed my grass and has yet to grow back, it's been almost a year since then. When digging the post holes my cable wire was cut and I was never notified. I had to pay for it to be fixed by my cable company. The manager of Basic lawn and fence told me he would put in for the permit needed for the fence and would include it in the total. It wasn't until the fence was completed and I payed that he told me how he forgot about the permit and it would be easy for me to obtain one by going downtown and applying for the permit myself. As if that was not enough, about 7 months later a picket came undone in one of the corners of the fence. I took 3 days for Basic lawn and fence to come repair the issue. The rest of the work has held up since August of last year.

Initially had no problem staying in touch and setting up a date/time to do the work. After the fence was put up I had a few issues in reference to it not being level across in some areas and it the gates didnt seem to be fitted properly. Also, one lock is fitted on one side of the single door and the other lock was installed on the opposite side which seemed a bit unusal. All of this was brought to his attention, -he agreed to move a sprinkler that was right above the double door and never returned to do that. Seems like a nice guy but for the price charged for the fence, I would expect a better level of customer service and promptness towards his customers. I'm still in the process of finding someone else to correct the problems that i was left with.

Everything got done pretty quick, didnt have to wait long for it to begin and get completed. However, I was not happy with the handles they used on the fence, looks very cheap compared to the wood used and being that I paid 2300.00 I feel like it should have been nicer handles, its also a little uneven on our bigger gate and I am not happy with that. Never got a followup call asking if I was happy with the outcome. The fence looks nice but I think the handles and the gate could have looked better. I dont feel as though it was worth 2300.00. I would recommend them even though these minors details bothered me.

Steve came out and gave a very good estimate as well as a detailed description of the kind of fence I would be gettting. I am very pleased with the entire experince and have already recommended them to a few of my friends looking to have a fence installed.

Steve himself answered his phone (very important to me) and came out to conduct an estimate and spent a good deal of time with me discussing various options for my fencing needs. He was very professional, knowledgable and had suggestions and ideas that I had not thought about. His estimate came in several hundred dollars under other fencing companies. Once I contacted Steve to contract him for the job, we set a start date and I informed him that I needed the job to be completed as soon as possible. Even though we had terrible weather that ended up putting his guys behind on another job, he still showed up with his crew and worked well past dark. Steve even went to Lowes to purchase a spotlight to help the crew work better as my floodlights weren't quite bright enough. We had another horrible day of weather but the next day, Steve and his crew were back at it, finishing the job and doing a beautiful job. His crew was professional and courteous and cleaned up very well before leaving. I would also like to add that we found, after the estimate, that my sprinkler system was in the way of where the fence needed to be erected. Steve took care of moving the sprinkler heads and didn't even charge me extra for it. Overall, it was a very good experience. I have no reservations in recommending Basic Lawn and Fence to anyone I meet who has fencing needs. I think you'll be very happy with the product.

I used the team at Basic Lawn And Fence to install a fence for me. The guys at Basic were able to get the job done in the time frame they quoted. The whole process went absolutely flawlessly. I had to call one time after the fence was installed because a board had come up and they were out to fix it the same day. I would use their service again in the future.
