I brought my vehicle in last week to Banging Systems Car Audio because of the good reviews. I drove 2 hours in hopes they could rewire a harness that was cut and install a double din. I was told I needed to purchase various harnesses in order for them to fix it - which took them 4 hours just to tell me that. And since I already paid for the installation, I had no choice but to bring it back. Today I brought the harnesses and drove another 2 hours only to be told I didn't even need them except for one. And to my surprise, not only did I have to wait SEVEN HOURS, they didn't install anything correctly. While I waited in the lobby, I came across negative reviews that stated they bribe people into giving them 5 star reviews for discounts, their customer service is horrible, and they halfass the job. If you ask for an update on your vehicle, they get defensive. If you ask for a refund, they only offer store credit. A multitude of redflags. The steering wheel controls do not work, the bluetooth does not work, the android auto USB does not work as they didn't bypass the brake system by grounding the wire properly, and they didn't even screw the dash back in so it literally popped right out while I was driving. I requested a refund, partial refund, store credit, anything to compensate me for the waste of $230 I spent on their "20 years of experience" just to be sent off with half-assed amateur work because they absolutely refused to offer anything. I would NOT recommend them.

Be careful if you have a newer model car because I don't think they know too much about it. Mine is 2018 and it took them more than 8 hours to replace a stereo from the factory one, and the USB ports are now not working. Haven't check my HDMI port yet but I'm guessing that it's not working as well. When I scheduled the installation, they said only takes few hours. My lane change camera is also not working. I took my car to Dirty South on Skibo & a stereo place in Smithfield to have them look at and they both said there's another module needs to be installed for my lane change camera to work but the can fix the problem. I was gonna come back to this place to install a subwoofer but after all this problems, I'm gonna go to either one of the other shops instead.

Banging Systems seemed friendly at first but then I found out they don't value the customer which means they don't care about return customers either. I specifically asked for a certain model car speaker and was given another with the premise that it was an upgraded model. Got home and looked up the model and found out that it was the old model and should have been $20 cheaper. Went back to the store and was talked to like I had 'stupid' written on my forehead as the manager insisted that the speakers I purchased were the same as the ones I originally asked for. Why would Pioneer make two identical speakers but give them different model numbers? I asked for a refund so I can purchase the speaker that I originally asked for (which they did not have in stock) elsewhere but was offered a store credit instead and then he went on to say that I should not have paid for them if they were not the exact model that I asked for. Like really, what am I supposed to do with a store credit besides allow you to hold my money hostage? So my trust was gained as if they are true experts and professionals but then I am punished for being fooled into buying something that I did not ask for. I read some pretty bad reviews about Banging Systems and wish I had seen them beforehand. BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! Not only do they treat the customer as just another dollar but I read that most times they mess up your vehicle during installs. I will never shop here again and I am filing my grievance with the BBB.

I purchased window tint and the tech put two dents on my car from leaning on it on both sides; also the tires they sold me were not balanced and defective. I cannot drive over 35 mph without my car violently shaking. They refuse to give me a refund to purchase new tires. They do not have the equipment in the store to put tires on anyone's care and put the public in danger.
