Appliance Doctor

The repair man did not show up. The woman I spoke to to set up appt has a language barrier, when I called to schedule an appointment she wrote down my information and told me how much it was going to be for the labor which is a flat rate of $65 plus whatever parts the repair man uses to fix my appliance. On the day of appointment I waited for the repair man to show up and he never did so I called appliance doctor back and the woman informed me that I had the wrong number and that I did not in fact set an appointment up with them, when I describe the type of conversation her and I had yesterday she then remembered but she had taken down the wrong address and set up the wrong time for an appointment a time and address different from what I told her and what we agreed upon.

The appliance tech showed up on time was very friendly and smart. It took him all of two minutes to trouble shoot and diagnos the problem with my appliance. He went to his truck got the required part, thawed out my fridge, replaced the part and even replaced the missing screws .  The price was great. My wife and I were so happy with the service that we will definately  use The appliance doctor again  a nd r ecommend him t o a ll of our friends.

Dan showed up a couple of hours after calling him.  Repaired the dryer, had the parts he needed with him and has a flat labor cost plus parts.  Would call again with any appliance problems.

He came over and looked at the stove, which had a defective oven thermostat and a burned out burner switch. Parts were no longer available as replacements, so he found an old junked stove and canibalized the parts from it. Only took about two hours to fix, and the stove is like new again. Highly recommend.

Everything was great

Told me what to watch out for in the future. And offered to assess any other appliance issues I might have free of charge. I will definitely call him again.

Dan W. showed up hours after calling the shop. He worked extremely fast and even entertained our children's questions while he was working. He completed the work within an hour's time and cleaned up after the install. If we have appliance issues in the future, we will definitely be giving Dan a call.

Dan arrived early and fixed the line quickly.

He was efficient and on time. He has good customer service and gave me some directions on how to do business in the future. He is a great person. I would recommend him.

Dan was GREAT! I would not hesitate to go to him again for any appliance repair I need. He was prompt and very personable and came prepared with all the parts he needed to fix our washer (even the parts for the washer drum we didn't even realize was broken!!). My only minor complaint was that Dan only books appointments 1-2 days in advance and the woman who answers the phones for him can be somewhat hard to understand. That being said, none of those issues would cause me to hesitate to use him again in the future. He explained everything he was doing very clearly and the overall cost for the repair was far cheaper than I had expected!! It's very nice to see that there are still some honest and hardworking repair guys out there. Great guy! :)

He is a polite and experienced guy. He completely explains the problem/s he sees to you, so you can make the most educated decision about service. I like that he treats me like I have a brain! Many people seem to think that folks who do not do mechanical work cannot understand a mechanical explanation, but he really respects the judgement and wishes of his customers!

The Appliance Dr was professional and fast and friendly. He carried his tools very neatly and was very organized, which I appreciated and admired. He fixed our washer and in a timely manner. We will definitely use him for all our appliance repairs.

He came, he determined the problem, he acquired the parts, and he fixed the problems.

Did a good job on the repair and the cost was fine. However, the individual was extremely vocal (almost to the point of being reactionary) in his anti-Obama sentiments. It was unpleasant to have someone with that degree of vitriol in my home.

We had spoken on the phone so he had an idea of what the problem was with our washing machine. He agreed to meet us at 4:30. Dan drove up to the house at 4:30 and remembered he had been here before, last year to fix our dryer. After some quick attempts to make the washer work, Dan proceeded to take the thing apart like he had built it himself and got to the root of the problem. He showed me the piece that he was going to replace because it was not working, walked to his van and brought a brand new piece and installed it. He was in and out within 30 minutes and our washing machine works great.
Dan is an expert at his trade and chargesw a reasonable rate for his services. He knows appliances and makes good recommendations on what to look for when shopping for new appliances. I will not hesitate to call him again in the future.
