Animal hospital of fayetteville is so unprofessional in my opinion. I took my 7 month old cat in because he was hiding and not eating much or going to the bathroom, i took him in and told her about how he was acting, not eating much, and even told her how he started acting like he was having trouble standing on his back leg, the doctor did not take the time to look, she just kept saying looks okay to me, hes fine. but she tested him for FeLV and it came back positive, she did not recommend any treatment, any supplements or give me ANY information on FeLV except for that he can live a long healthy life. i told her that i was concerned about his gums because they were turning pale, all she could say was "huh yeah they do look alittle pale." She made him get a rabies shot right there when she seen how sick he was, and sent him home. WELL about three hours later hes still hiding under the couch, not using the bathroom or walking around. He starts YOWLING loudly in pain, something he NEVER done before until after i took him to this vet. I rushed him to the Animal Urgent Care on Sycamore diary, and they said his PCV was at a 6% and he needed a blood transfusion but she didnt think that it would have helped him. He was diagnosed that same day, and since before that i never really knew about FeLV, so i had no time to do my research and i was basically clueless, and these vets talk their doctor terms like we are supposed to understand them, they dont want to explain anything to us or help us understand. they just wanted to my baby to sleep because they thought the blood transfusion would not have worked, but i have read that there are chances a blood transfusion plus meds could have helped him get better. My point is, the Urgent Care Vet said the Doctor at Animal hospital of fayetteville should have NOT sent him home like that, and she should have been able to look at him and his gums and knew they were in bad shape. She recommended I file a complaint of Neglect with that Vet and I did. They were so unprofessional and had dogs ******** and ******* all over their floors and all they could do was wipe it up with a paper towel, nothing else, and the nurse cleaning it up did not wear gloves or wash her hands afterwards. One of the dogs in the back must have had bloody diarrhea because i over heard them talking and then the nurse starting spraying lysol or something in the air all around my sick cat and the other sick animals in the waiting room. They were rude and did not seem to care about animals or the people there AT ALL. I hate that i took my boy there first instead of going to someone better that might have done something for him or not had me send him home just for the poor little guy to have to go right back hours later. Please do not send your animals here unless you have no other option. something in my gut told me to not go there but i was trying to help my buddy at the time i did not know Also on the paper work she sent home, it said doctor dan on it but when i called to find out the ladies name that examined my cat, the lady on the phone said her name was Doctor Nevens or Nevins? idk but i looked her name up on their website and i did not see her name listed on there. now i wonder if she was even a real doctor, and if so, why was her name not on the paperwork that i got when i took my cat?? it just seems sketchy, but she is like probably in her 40s or 50s, kinda short skinny white lady with dark hair.

Dr. Rogers was negligent in the care and examination of my cat! I brought my cat in on Tuesday 8/16. He was seen by Dr. Rogers. Forest had hurt his leg jumping and was limping. Dr. Rogers put him on the floor and watched him walk, he had a slight limp and to that point had not been vocal about the pain. When Dr. Rogers put him on the table and started examining Forests leg, he got to the knee and forest screamed out and was writhing in pain. I tried to hold him still (he is 13lb) best I could and still listen to what the doctor was telling me. During this pulling and examining AND Forest writhing Dr .Rogers let Forests back side fall off the table causing Forest to bellow out in pain, hiss and growl, which he has NEVER done in his young life. At that point I knew something had just happened to him. Yet the doctor was going to send us on our way with meds of some kind. I insisted on Forest having an x-ray. The doctor complied, left the room and I never saw him again. I signed paperwork for sedation and was assured that someone would call me to let me know how things are going. That was at 11am. At 3pm I finally called and nothing had been done yet. 3:48pm Dr Rogers calls to tell me that the x-ray is done and Forest has some type of possible knee issue?? Forest was to be given a 3 day anti-inflammatory regime, and limited movement for 10-14 days. When I picked up Forest I asked the reception lady who I needed to talk to about a complaint on Dr Rogers. She disappeared came back told me the office manager was gone for the day and could she call me tomorrow, or I could wait and talk with Dr Garret. I said please have the office manager call me, and if Dr. Garret would like to talk to me have him call me also. I received absolutely no phone calls. The reception lady also asked if I had my carrier with me because they would be coming to get it before bringing me Forest. 10 min. later a small framed girl came walking out with Forest who was almost as big as she was, into a reception area that had at least 7 other dogs all which were barking loudly. I asked her if he was still dopey or if he was given anything for pain…”I don’t know…..” I asked, Is he in pain? Did he howl when you picked him up? “I didn’t really hear him.” Dr. Rogers should have had someone in the exam room to help control my cat from writhing around during his examination. If he had, Forests back end would not have slipped off the table causing him greater injury.

They are really good for veterinarians. They are clean and they are priced very fairly. They are conscientious about their work. They are organized and professional. They take their time to explain things very clearly. If you need it, they can definitely talk with you at your level where your animals are. Meaning I needed a different talking to my husband or my children and they can meet us all on different levels. They handle emergencies well and also the general day to day stuff.

The Animal Hospital is not really truthful or upfront until the last minute about the prices. Every little thing they charge you for, it's ridiculous but I do get a discount. I don't care for the doctor there but I can just walk in if I need to. Their punctuality and professionalism are great.

I started going here after multiple bad experiences at local vets and this vet has far passed those experiences. I will be using them from now on. Dr Garrett is VERY nice and they charge great rates.

They are just super good. They will help every animal from hamsters to horses. Not many of the vets will do that anymore. They have a separate entrance in the back for the horses. They are consistently excellent no matter which one of the doctors that you see when you are there and their prices are very good also. I will continue to use the services of the Animal Hospital for our pet's health.
