Auto Sales
Purchased a used vehicle "as is". Dealer told me vehicle had just passed inspection and was a "good, solid vehicle". Less than 24 hours after purchase the left front tire was flat. Inside of tire was dry rotted and tire was full of "Fix a Flat" type material. Less than 1 week later vehicle was in shop, the rear breaks were leaking so bad that it had chemically stripped off the paint and grooved drums bad enough they had to be replaced. Also, someone had crimped the rear break line to slow the leak down. While the brake work was being done, it was found that the front ball joints were completely shot and had to be replaced. Also, it was found that the reverse lights did not function at all and the bake lights were intermittent. Remind you, it was "just inspected". When dealer was contacted, he offered to fix brakes at a discounted cost, but refused to fix any other problems. In less than 1 week I was forced to put over $1,300 dollars of repairs in on a vehicle that was a "good, solid vehicle".
