Petr is a master carpenter and I try to take advantage of his special skills when I have an important project to do. My large garden was marred by a very ugly chain link gate. Petr had already constructed a beautiful Gothic-style garden gate for the front entrance to the garden, so I asked him for a simpler design that would be in keeping with that style, but would be more suitable (and affordable) for the much larger gate at the rear of the garden. This was not an easy project but Petr is terrific at engineering anything he builds to withstand the stresses to which they will be subjected. He knew where the heavy wooden gate panels would need extra support, etc. He also came up with a much better design than mine for the side panels that had to be attached to the existing fence. The result is really a masterpiece of carpentry that adds a beautiful element to my garden. I could not be more pleased.

As always, Petr did the job extremely well. He is a master carpenter and a very good problem solver. The door was a recycled one and an odd size, but that was not a problem because of his ability to make adjustments to both door and frame.
In addition to fine carpentry, I have had Petr install drapery hardware, help with yard work, and do household repairs too numerous to mention. With the exception of the plumbing, he did all the demolition and reconstruction of two bathrooms - new floor joists, ceramic tile floors, subway tiles on walls, crown moldings, window installation, wainscoting, etc. He is indeed The Reliable Handyman.

I was pretty happy with their services. He showed up on time. He did great work at a reasonable price.

Petr is a master carpenter and has superior construction skills but will also do small jobs. He is extremely responsive to my requests and has always figured out a way to accomplish what I've asked him to do. He is punctual, returns my calls, and keeps appointments, unlike so many of the other service providers I have tried using in the past.
