They did an excellent job, showing great professionalism and care. When finished, cleaned up so that it was hard to see that they had been there. Nice guys who worked steadily until the job was completed.

Trebor was professional, and called AND showed up when he said he would. He did exactly what we wanted while still being concerned with the health of the trees he was pruning. I would have no reservations in hiring him again.

Very fast initial response, quick first meeting to go over work, on time for day of work. All the work was done much better than our expectations. Crew was very polite and careful in clean up. We could not have asked for a better day of work and plan to have them back in the near future.

We had Trebor and his crew come out to clear some branches to open up our view of the mountains. He was friendly. courteous and helpful on the phone, made an appointment for a free estimate and followed through as planned. His initial evaluation was helpful and he offered several suggestions as well. They were prompt in arriving for the work after calling ahead that they would be 10 minutes late. They did a careful, safe job of cutting the limbs on one side of a pine that was blocking our view and also cut several saplings. They cleaned up well and suggested some future work if we wanted to open the view even further. We will gladly use him in the future.

They were affordable, professional and did a good job

Trebor and his crew of two arrived on-time and immediately got to work. They began the morning by removing two very large trees, one that was threatening to fall on our house. They then got to work cutting down and removing some smaller dead trees on the property. They did some pruning and cut down weeds in an adjacent lot. They were considerate, easy going, easy to work with and very responsive. They did a lot more in a day than I had expected. They cleaned up before leaving. They are a great crew and I highly recommend them.

This company was very professional. Two workers worked to take down the trees, cutting sections, then lowering them to the ground. A third man carried the sections to the wood chipper. It was pretty amazing to watch them scamper up to the tree tops so easily. After completing our original order of removing two trees, they offered to take down a third sick tree for only 100 dollars. After completing their work, they cleaned the area of all tree debris.

These guys were great! Absolutely the best! I had a tree limb that was growing out over my 2nd story roof, as well as trees that need to be cut down close to my house. The guys came out, looked at what needed to be done and did it all in a da Gy! They cleaned up massive branches, trees - - everything! And did it all in a day. Absolutely the best! They damaged nothing! One branch in particular was about 40 feet long and grown over the house and was touching the roof. It was up over 35 feet and dangling over landscaping as well as the house. They scurried up the tree, attached ropes and pulleys, and got the darned thing down so perfectly I didn't even hear it in my office. By the end of the day, it didn't even look like they'd been there they cleaned up so well. They were so good I'm using them again to do some more clean up with some more trees that need to come down near some power lines. GREAT COMPANY TO WORK WITH!

Professional, punctual, and worked as promised. I couldn't be happier with Carolina Tree Monkeys service and work ethic. The two (2) gentlemen worked the entire time. Our home is on, just under, one (1) acre and it looks like the contractor cut out a space to drop the house and did not touch the rest of the property. For the 15 years the house has been in existence, no one touched the property. The lot WAS a forest, dense and overgrown. There is still some way to go, but thanks to Carolina Tree Monkeys we can actually see sunlight on the ground! We will contract with them again (fair warning to Carolina Tree Monkeys)/ We are relatively new to Angie's List, but so far we are 2 for 2 on being COMPLETELY satisfied! And I'm not easily pleased!!

This was my first Angie's List experience and it was outstanding. Trebor and his team exceeded all expectations. They are professional and very competent at what they do. They removed a tree that was very close to the house and did it with minimal interruption/impact to the surroundings. They are conscientious of the home-site and left the job very neat; wood stacked, all limbs and debris cleared and chipped. It's evident they care about what they do. I highly recommend Carolina Tree monkeys and plan to use them again for future tree love.

Much better than I had expected, the tree was so large and reasonably close to the house. These men are quite amazing in their abilities to do the near impossible. I will use them again. Excellent.

They were punctual, arriving on time the day of the job. They worked very hard and efficiently to remove the trees carefully from between the two homes. They returned the next day to continue the clean up and to grid the stumps. All in all a well done job.

I had a quick response from owner Trebor after I purchased their deal package. He was prompt when coming to do an evaluation of what work needed to be done. He and his crew arrived on time on work day and worked a full day almost non-stop. They were professional and courteous. They took away all of the debris leaving nothing unsightly behind. These guys are great. We had several dead trees that needed to be removed as well as two difficult and large trees. One was extremely close to our home and the other was ready to fall into a pond. They were able to remove both without any problems. They are professional, friendly, and trustworthy. I highly recommend.

Trebor Clavette and the Tree Monkeys were TREE-MENDOUS! They checked in with us the day before, arrived on time, and did everything they promised as well as a few additional jobs for the agreed upon fee. The are knowledgeable, courteous and diligent. After finishing the job there was a walk through to be sure they had completed all items on my list. They also offered helpful advice about some other related problems I have. Finally their clean up left the property, except for their improvements, how they had found it. I recommend Tree Monkeys without reservation.

Trebor was very responsive to our phone call and provided the estimate within a day or two. His crew of 3 came out a couple of days later and got right to work. Taking more than half a day, they were meticulous in their method of taking down the trees, chipping the acceptable material, and dumping it where needed. The crew paid special attention to the impact that any falling branches might have on the neighbor's yard since the Hemlocks were right on the property line. The trees were dismantled then felled with no damage to the surrounding driveway or lawn, and their cleanup effort left the property better looking than when they started. The stump grinding work was subbed out to Davis Stump Grinding with outstanding results. Overall, Carolina Tree Monkeys and Davis Stump Grinding provided excellent value. Highly recommended!

Trebor and his brother arrived on time and got to work quickly. Much to my surprise, they did not use chain saws. They said that since it was a relatively small job, they preferred to use hand saws and trimmers. I certainly liked not hearing the roar of chain saws while they worked. They worked quickly, did everything I asked and cleaned up well.

I pre-purchased a deal which cost $199 for $400 worth of tree service. I called the company to schedule my appt. and spoke with Trebor Clavette, who promptly scheduled a site survey for 7:30 on Aug. 24. Trebor called the morning of the appointment to advise that he was behind schedule. Upon his arrival, we discussed what the job would entail and any additional costs beyond the deal I had purchased. Trebor said there would be a $50 charge for hauling the debris, which seemed reasonable to me and I agreed. We scheduled the job for 8:00 on Friday, Aug. 28. Trebor called the morning of the job and requested a delay to finish some other odd jobs on the way to my location, and I said that would be okay. Trebor and his coworker arrived shortly before noon and went right to work. The paper birch was thinned and pruned to removed the branches that were contacting the roof and side of the house. Also, the maple was pruned to remove the low branches overhanging my driveway and contacting my vehicle. All debris was chipped for recycling and the areas would blown to clean up any loose leaves and twigs. Both Trebor and his coworker were polite and professional. I was very pleased with their work and would recommend Carolina Tree Monkeys.

From the first call to the end of the work everything went without a hitch. We called and Trebor Clavette the "Head Monkey" returned our call the same day. The next day he came to review the scope of work and gave us the above estimate and set a date for the work to be performed. We live on several acres on a very steep wooded view lot. The day the work was scheduled, Trebor and 2 other men showed up promptly at 8 AM and the 3 men worked steadily all day. All were knowledgeable, professional and more than competent at what they were doing. They all asked questions throughout the day to be certain of our needs and satisfaction with what they had done up to that point. I would not hesitate to recommend Carolina Tree Monkeys to anyone. They far exceeded my expectations. Because of the nature of our lot and the number of trees on it we have used other local Arborists with less success for any number of reasons. When we need an Arborist in the future we will call Carolina Tree Monkeys. Finally we found a company that meets our standards. Came out promptly for an initial evaluation visit to estimate the work required and cost. 1st available date to do the work was about 1 week later. Sent two men to perform the work. Turned out to be about 4 hours of work. They were very courteous and very professional. They were very aware of the best way to cut each tree. They did an excellent job of clean up and asked us to look over their work when they thot they might be done. We would not hesitate to call them out to help us again.

Fast and very polite. Showed up on time and frankly got an amazing amount of work done in eight hours. Would reccomend them to all my friends for tree service needs.
