Description of Work: contracted with RBR Construction in Hendersonville NC. Part of the work was to replace the front walk and porch floor with tile. The work was shoddy and we informed RBR owner Benton Rooks. He refused to have the work redone or to reimburse us for our own repair of the work. He was unpleasant. His company should be avoided.

 + -1 moreA lot of headaches throughout the entire job. Contractor promised to have the job finished in 06 months (Nov. 2011). Job was still not finished on March 2012, when I finally decided to move in as my family couldn't wait for more excuses. Contractor does not have the experience he claims to have and also does not have any employees on payroll (works with subcontractors and changes them all the time). Several issues have come up after we moved in due to poor workmanship. Contractor fails to return any calls (despite several attempts). Summary: the job provided did not meet the expectations and 20% over budget. Do yourself a favor and go with some else.
Description of Work: Hired Benton Rooks to re-build a home in Fairview, NC. Approx. 6,000 sqft home. Contractor promised to have the job done within 06 months.
